I had the WWE Classics on Demand for two years on my cable television. It was pretty damn cool to be honest, and always looked forward to every month to see what new stuff would appear to watch. Even every two weeks at times they'd add new stuff. So it was well worth the price I was paying for it.
Then the WWE Network came out. The chance to have everything on there at one time to watch was pretty appealing and exciting to me. So much classic content to enjoy watching.
But for as much classic content that they have on the WWE Network, a lot is missing.... a lot that I watched on Classics on Demand!
How is it that Classics on Demand would air Championship Wrestling from Florida, various WWF House shows, WCW World Wide, and other events, but somehow the WWE Network doesn't have a lot of that stuff on their streaming site??
So was Classics on Demand better than the WWE Network for classic wrestling content?? At times I feel it was.

Classics on demand (for me) was very hit and miss. Some months were great, while others I might watch an hour of programming. This was during a time where I had roommates who were wrestling fans. There were months when we'd still be up at midnight on the first of the month, waiting for the new updates. Some of those nights were fun, while others were disappointing. Luckily I had a big DVD collection building so we always had some show to fall back on.

From classics on demand I do miss the hall of fame profiles and the extra matches that come with it, history of ecw because of the introductions, the Monday Night Wars series, and the roundtables.

I enjoyed the hell outta WWE 24/7. I liked how at one point we would get 2 PTW episodes a month but towards the end we only would get one a month I also liked how they were showing WWF Mania and WCW Worldwide episodes towards the end of its run there.
The advantage it had over the Network to me is it never gave me any problems. Nothing froze or kicked me out like the Network does.Everything played smoothly
Great service.I definitely miss it.
