It would work if they would start by just throwing in 1 legend in every series. Once they get some heavy hitters on board then spilt off into its own series so there wont be an onslaught of repaints. There are so many possibilities. I hate to be that guy but if there was ever a chance to get an Owen Hart in main line, nationally distributed, available in stores figure i think this might be it.

That's a great idea! We need more BAFs in general. I am a mark for this gimmick. This! You only have to look at the number of figures from baf lines on the secondary market in perfect condition and not even removed from packaging sometimes but just the baf part missing Oh my goodness I hate BAFs. I get that it's needed for the really wild figures, but with ML certain BAFs are just unnecessary. It wounds me endlessly that I can't get my hands on a Mantis or Okoye figure easily. I'm not even getting into how pained I am about the WWE BAFs. I have a burning desire for a Commissioner Michaels figure but THAT ain't happening! |

I dunno. I feel like they'd be pretty limited in what they can do for Legends type characters.

I don't really see how it'd be feasible but more power to them if they have enough rights of people to do it - as already been said I imagine it'd have to be pretty gradual.
If I get a Jim Ross out of it I don't care what else is released - sick of trying to track the Mattel one down and the Jakks scans he looks like he's on the toilet.

So pumped for the prospects they could do with Legends. They could get so many great names and as proven, the figures look awesome. With Jeremy at the lead, I have full confidence this could be great. Very excited about the possibilities.

I'm trying to keep my expectations tempered, but that's hard with the quality they've shown with the first two AEW waves. For me, it's all about possibilities like you said. I'm so sick of hearing "if they're made available to us" in the WWE line. I'm sure Jazwares execution won't be flawless, and there will still be things that fall through. But Jeremy seems like a very solutions-driven person, and is always pushing the envelope. That's something that I can relate to and respect. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when a wrestling toy company is allowed to color outside the lines. |

The demand for this probably wouldn’t be great, but I’d rather see them sign well known independent guys or people from other countries than try to find a version of Sting they could make legally. Jacob Fatu will likely never have a figure as long as he’s with MLW, and that other company we’re not allowed to mention takes so long to put out figures of guys they sign I think there is an opportunity to be a better alternative. Rights issues might be tricky right now with Super7 also in the mix, but AEW’s roster isn’t that big, over time they’ll make most everyone and there will likely be just one new guy per series. If Jazwares could start sliding in someone from ROH, MLW, or Impact as the rights became available, it would be a cool way to supplement the line.

We've been talking generally about including legends, whether it's a standalone line or incorporated into the main line in some form. I think getting retail to pick up a second line (and peg space) might be tough, compared to just integrating them into their existing line. But either way, I'd be down for a 00's indie era Colt. Less likely, but they could probably just do one body with multiple heads of his current look and the younger clean shaven head. |

Honestly, other than Taz and possibly Raven, I have no desire to see a legends line. I personally don't think this line will make it to 10 series if I'm being honest.

I know he was working for NWA recently but I think this might be our best chance at a pre-Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner if he ever makes an appearance in AEW. That figure would sell like crazy.
