Imagine Owen had been able to go with Bret, Davey and Jim in 1997, and Brian hadn't died and went with them too. They arrive on Nitro in late 1997 in their leather jackets as the Hart Foundation and Eric Bischoff decides to push them as a group.
What would their 1998 have looked like? Book it, wrestling fans.

Probably a lot like how the Hart Foundation were booked in WCW without Owen. So.... not good.

Still, I stick with what I said. Any Hart member in WCW always looked out of place. Including Owen's 1991 run, Davey's 1993 run, Neidhart's 1993 run and then the 1997 - 1998 run of Jim, Davey and Bret's entire WCW run.
It always looked unnatural to me. All four of those guys were WWE guys. So I legit couldn't think of any way to make them great in WCW. Nash and Hall would have destroyed Owen and Davey, Neidhart would have been fed to Bagwell, and Bret had Savage and Hogan to contend with. They would have never been treated as equals.
If that was the case, then WCW would have used Bret, Jim and Davey as a unit right off the bat, and they never did.

I would imagine the best thing to do is match them up against the Four Horsemen first then against NWO Wolfpac. Bret would definitely be the World Champion of the group with Davey and Owen going between the tag team titles and the US championship (both would be perfect for the US title if they were still doing the evil foreign gimmick), and Anvil as the enforcer. After that, I could see Bret facing Goldberg with the Hart Foundation attacking Goldberg and at times Goldberg destroying the group (a lot like Sting did against the NWO when he would go through the entire group at once). I imagine it still would have been hard to book if Hogan was still playing politics and not wanting to work against Bret.

I could see it being like Team Canada with Lance Storm.
