Hey everyone!
So for those of you who don’t know me, my name is Mark Smith—yes it’s real, unlike MIKE MILLER or BEN TURPEN; err- I digress—and you probably know me........ because you follow me on twitter or Facebook and I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
I started an Instagram account called SmarksAndCrafts — www.instagram.com/smarksandcrafts || www.twitter.com/smarksandcrafts — and I’m happy to call it a hobby I once had and one that has come back to get me. It started when I bought a friend a gift for his birthday, which was three figures of Raven; one from ECW, one WCW and one WWE... when I started to get an itch. An itch I hadn’t had in a while. I had the first set Hardy Boyz figures when I was younger. I had Steve Austin with the Smoking Skull belt. I had the first Chris Jericho figure in WWE. I had rings, attire, a whole load of crap. And I owe that to my parents for paying for those toys; and my Grandfather for getting me hooked. This will be my new venture, stemming from the old.
So... for my first post, I’ll begin to show you what I plan to do a lot of—which is show you my belt collections. I’ve always loved figures, but for some reason I loved collecting championship titles. I have a multitude as you’ll come to see in the coming months, but this is just a taste of what I’ve acquired and even customized some myself. I’ll also share a bit about myself as I go.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I said I always loved wrestling figures and that’s true, until Hurricane Sandy in 2012 demolished my entire collection. I was twenty seven years old at the time so I wasn’t too heart broken, until I saw some of the figures that were just absolutely disgusting. Figures I had collected with my Dad and my Grandfather—LJN’s, Hasbro’s, Jakk’s, Mattel’s—all gone. That’s when figure collecting died for me, having to spend $450,000 to get my house back to what it needed to be... with the help of $4,000 check for homeowners and $12,000 check from FEMA. That crushed me to have to pay, but I did it. And that’s when expenses became tight.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Wrestling was already a backburner item for me, but hell no was I going to pay for any type of wrestling show or event. No movies, no takeout, no Xbox Live no video games. After Hurricane Sandy, ten days exactly, I had an electric plug that powered a fridge and my phone chargers. So here’s the start... #WCW, #TNA and #NWA Championship Titles... and here you go!

I hope this didn’t break any rules and honestly just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone was interested in this type of stuff. I’ll be sticking around but you can find me on twitter podjohnnyringo
Thanks for your time!
