Some people can't help themselves.

Now that we know what FTR stands for, I like that they are calling themselves that. They’re the best so FTR!

I thought AEW was going to be an alternative to WWE? But so far all i've seen especially with the current episode of Dynamite is, The Revival 2.0 and a rehash of Tyson V Stone Cold. Except it's with a bloated Chris Jericho who now seems to be ripping off The Walking dead with his latest "funny" prop, the baseball bat. Now before any AE DUBA Fanboys get there knickers in a knot, i'm making an observation not a criticism. I can agree with the Tyson spot. As far as the Revival go, they left there to come to AEW. It'd be incredibly short sighted for AEW to NOT sign them because they were in WWE. Everyone who left WWE to go to AEW has done so to prove that they were fed up and are looking to prove themselves. I respect the hell out of that and I hope they succeed. That last sentence is pretty lame. I agree with you 100 percent. When wwe signed Austin, Foley, and Hunter were those guys called wcw rejects?

So because the Revival were in the WWE they shouldn't be signed by AEW? That sucks for anyone the WWE releases. Apparently they all need a career change.

I feel like the only true stigma of the Wwe rejects things is like late WCW and then TNA where they bring a guy in and immediately are pushed way above where they were in wwe. Like Orlando Jordan coming in and being a mid card guy in TNA, Winter coming in and becoming knockouts champion right away, Chavo coming in and TNA acting like they got Eddie and giving him titles. That is bad business cause it makes TNA look less than, when a underneath guy who was jobbing every night comes in and wins their titles with ease. Now I will say I am on record by saying at this point bring in Luke Harper and putting him immediately in their world title picture was bad! Nothing in any way about Brodie as a performer or a wrestler, but this was a guy that wasn’t being featured in Wwe and immediately shoots to the top of the card, bring him in build him up the card, that’s fine build a guy. Now if they bring in Slater and No Way Jose and Zack Ryder and these guys start beating the AEW roster like a drum and feuding with Cody and Moxley, that’s a problem. Nothing against those guys as performers but it’s a problematic look.

You have said this many many times in threads made your opinion known and while I understand the position it doesn’t change his place on the card and how he was used and my personal belief that he shouldn’t just show up and be competing for the world title, and history has shown us that it doesn’t work, casual fans don’t believe it. They didn’t buy it with Jeff Jarrett in WCW, they didn’t buy it with a million guys in TNA, they didn’t buy it with MVP in New Japan. It doesn’t work, it hurts the champion more than it helps the challenger.

Who knows what the original plans were, but they did have a solid match at DoN. Gotta give some credit.

It’s just mistakes that past promotions have made. It’s not about me or you the internet wrestling fan. You bring a guy in and you build him back up, rehabbing a guy slowly, working his way up the card works. He was an underneath guy and a tag guy. IMO Mox has been damaged, he isn’t nearly as hot as he was after feuding with Jericho and Omega now following feuds with Jack Hager and Brodie, cause those guys have historically for the most part been mid card to underneath guys.

I totally got your point, that's why I was saying at least AEW spent months building to his arrival and months building him into being a contender. I think they did that the best they could under the circumstances. I think it's too soon to say the Brodie slowed Mox down, but I agree with Hager. That match kinda killed Mox for me. He needs to be built up great before Fyter Fest. No fans in the crowd really, really, really hurts Mox.

Tyson and Luger need a support group on t-shirts.

He's definitely somebody who feeds off the crowd and his antics are meant to play to a crowd pop. There's plenty of room for debate on how quickly they've moved Lee up the card, especially given the limited roster they've had to work with since his debut. But the Dark Order storyline has literally been setup since Day 1, and I find it easy to buy into the guy orchestrating this cult for months being a legit threat. I just would have liked to see them play up the psychological aspect of the character a bit more on talent further up the card. Overall I just don't like the "LOLTNA" mindset. Wrestling history is full of workers changing promotions and being shot up the card. While there is plenty of room for debate over booking, there's a crowd that just writes talent off because of where they worked previously or how they were presented without giving the matches or storylines a chance. I'd hate to see how the internet would have reacted in 1990 when midcarder Mean Mark Callous suddenly showed up in WWF tv acting like a zombie and was treated as a star.

Of all the people you pick to make an argument you pick The Undertaker? A truly one in a lifetime performer, Stone Cold started out in the mid card, Triple H started out curtain jerking, talent is talent and it shines through over time. They tried to build Marc Mero over time and the fans didn’t take, imagine if he walked into the promotion and they pushed Johnny B Badd to the top of the card main eventing against Shawn Michaels? I’m not one of those LOLTNA guys but I mean they literally brought every single guy in and pushed him further up the card than he was in the wwe, literally every single one. Just don’t do that and they will be alright. It is just a plan than generally through time hasn’t worked, even Wwe has tried it and failed IE: Tensai ring a bell

I don't think he was doing that hokey TNA joke, just making a comparison. I agree, ideally Brodie would wait a tad longer before getting that shot but there were giant circumstances in play. While I'm talking about it, the lolTNA and "Look who's in the Impact Zone" jokes are lazy, uninspired, and out of date. Anytime I see someone come out of left field with those, it lets me know they're stupid and that their wrestling takes are probably hot horse sh*t. Sorry to go on a tangent. lol

If that's true, then that finish was really really bad. Hardy looked confused and out of place. I hand waved it because the had to come up with something on the fly.
