The woman who plays Mrs. Fletcher in that commercial was Edith Fore. She was a retired nurse and a widow from Camden, New Jersey who was chosen in 1989 by LifeCall to give her real testimonial as an ad for them. She died eight years after the commercial aired in 1997 and ended up being replaced twice. A stunt person did the actual fall in the commercial, but she actually fell in real life down the stairs in her home and said that line when she called LifeCall to come save her. As a result of the fall, she had blood pouring down her eyes, but she ended up becoming something of a celebrity for telling her story. After her death, her obituary was received similarly to that of any other B-list actor of the time.

How to make white castle style sliders at home. This is a big deal to me.

Cooking in a pan on a stove top doesn't have to take a long time.

You should probably try hard to keep your kids friends from while they’re growing up because it’s very difficult to form meaningful bonds when you get older.

I got some packages in the mail including a custom made miniature carton of soy milk for my dollhouse and a #/10 Panini Sami Zayn card that I already have the matching Kevin card on the way.

I thought my thermostat was broken. A quick YouTube video made me realize that it runs on 2 AAA batteries. Crisis averted. House is now warming up again.

Bleach freezes.
And my computer is so old, that it can't update the speakers/headphones.

People say that the best time to buy a new car is when you can’t afford the one you have. This strikes me as odd. At the very least, you’d be forced to buy a new car at that point, not choose to.

That my niece is playing Raja the tiger in her school's production of Aladdin Jr. I really hope she doesn't turn into a furry from this

That doesn't make any sense I talked to collins aerospace customer service and figures out that they have some great engineering vacancies opened at the moment. I am definitely not qualified enough for that, but maybe someone else here will be interested.

The woman who played Aunt Bethany in "Christmas Vacation" (Mae Questel) voiced Olive Oyl & Betty Boop back in the 30s.

Dogs can sense human emotions. They can pick up on subtle changes in body language, voice tone, and even smell the chemical changes in our bodies when we are feeling different emotions. I also learned today that exists Pet Prescription Without Vet, which can be useful for many pet owners.

Voice actor Billy West (Fry from Futurama, Ren & Stimpy, etc.) charges $7,500 per appearance for comic cons. Voice actress Nancy Cartwright (Bart Simpson) charges $100,000 per appearance.
