Did Jimmy Hart manage IRS before Money INC. was formed? If so any ideas when Hart started managing him?

Jimmy Hart started managing IRS when he and Ted became Tag Team Champions. It was at a house show, so maybe Jimmy managed them that night when the belts changed hands?? I know Jimmy showed up on TV with them on Superstars of Wrestling right after they won the belts though. That would be February 1992.

I read somewhere that Jimmy joined his protégée, IRS with Ted DiBiase, implying that he already managed Irwin, but I really don’t recall Hart managing him as a singles wrestler. I’ve checked out a couple of his matches prior to teaming with DiBiase And no sign of a manager, so thought I’d throw it out to see if anyone knew differently. Thanks again for the info.

I never understood why Jimmy Hart was managing Money Inc, but it provided a perfect situation for his face turn.

My theory behind that is that it wasn't more so that LOD were feuding with the Natural Disasters, but more so that LOD were feuding with Jimmy Hart. So Jimmy managed IRS and Ted helping them become champions thus getting one over on the LOD.
Plus I remember Sherri just left Ted to go be with Shawn, so it made the perfect sense to have Jimmy manage them. Looking back though, if Bobby Heenan was still managing, he would have been the perfect manager for Ted and IRS.

Did Sensational Sherri manage both I R S and Million Dollar for while? Sherri left for Shawn before they formed Money Inc so she never managed I.R.S. I can't remember if Ted was feuding with Tito or Davey Boy for her last few manager duties with him.

Money Inc. didn't need Jimmy Hart at all. Both IRS and Dibiase could cut awesome promos on their own.

If I remember correctly, the storyline for Jimmy Managing Money Inc. was he was managing the Natural Disasters and the Natural Disasters were supposed to have a return match vs. LOD for the titles (after their count-out victory over LOD at RR92) but Jimmy Hart gave/sold that title shot to Money Inc. thus turning on the Natural Disasters and joining Money Inc. This helped with the Natural Disasters face turn, I guess the WWF needed a new top babface tag team as the Rockers had already disbanded, LOD was now going on suspension for a while (which is why they dropped the titles in the first place), and Jim Neidhart hart was fired from the WWF again disbanding the New Foundation. Basically they were left with just the Bushwhackers as a top baby face team, and on occasion Hacksaw and Sarge.
This was around the time they started reshuffling things. I don't remember Sherri managing IRS but I believe she was still managing DiBiase when DiBiase and IRS sometimes faced Virgil and Tito. For storyline purposes it was at the time that Jimmy sold the title shot and started managing Money Inc. that Sherri had a huge crush on Shawn so she started managing him.

She is technically in there corner but she is the manager of Ted Dibase. She was only in there corner as a team three times in 1991. I'm pretty sure those times were all house shows and this was a Wrestling Challenge taping. Here is the match

Here is the match Yeah, DiBiase and IRS teamed a few times at the end of 1991 and the beginning of 1992 because they had similar foes (Tito, Virgil, Bossman, etc). As shown in the video you posted, IRS and DiBiase don't enter together and Sherri enters with DiBiase. During the Money Inc. days, IRS and DiBiase went to the ring together. At this time they were still singles wrestlers. I believe they became a tag team around the time they won the belts.

Mike Rotunda is a great wrestler and fun to use on the old WCW Wrestling video game.
