Overall I loved the show last night. FTR/B&B was definitely one of my favorite tag matches of the past year. It was great to see a no-frills, straight up tag wrestling match. And the main event exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. What the heck is going on with Allie? I don't watch Dark, but it sounds like she just sort of randomly became QT's on screen girlfriend? I thought she was working well as the Bunny, even if they weren't doing much with the character. This is 3 gimmicks and 2 alignment changes in 9 months, and it completely kills the character for me. I was looking forward to seeing how AEW used Allie coming out of some great character work in Impact, but this has been a mess. I mean, I'm pretty sure they said in a Road To that she's married to the Butcher, but whatever. At least she's not wrestling.

I know early on it was said that Kenny and Brandi were handling the womens booking, but not sure if that's still the case. Overall the product has been amazing for my tastes, but that makes the stuff with Allie and the way they handled the Nightmare Collective stick out like a sore thumb. They've pulled some very WWE-esque moves just randomly dropping or changing the story. And I wonder if that's due to who is writing for certain talent vs the more prominent storylines.

I can't wait for the tell-all stories that are going to come from the launch of AEW. They've been dealt some bad hands and for the most part have been really successful so far. AEW has randomly dropped or changed stories, but it's been for things that just haven't worked. I think it's comendable to take chances and course correct when something doesn't work. I think it'd be really tempting to be stubborn and double down on creative. Also, WWE has always had a bad habit of randomly changing their booking. When they stick to something it's great for the most part, but those times stand out because they're not the normal.

The Allie stuff seems random but it's definitely going somewhere. She's joined on commentary twice on dark and they deliberately asked her about Butcher and blade (it's blade that she's married to) and she dodged the question both times. I wish they would've asked her on dynamite so people who don't watch dark would know it's leading somewhere and they didn't just abandon it.

I mean, it'd make sense if it were leading to Butcher & Blade vs QT & Dustin. I just don't know if that's a match worth investing this much into...

I've been enjoying B&B, so I'm willing to give it a chance. I'm all for building storylines for the lower midcard acts. But if the stories are going to carry across Dark and Dynamite, it would definitely be helpful if they do something - interviews, commentary, recaps - to make sure the audience can follow the story.

I'm so glad Butcher and Blade got to show some of what they can do. I think both guys have an intimidation about them, more so Butcher. I hope they get more time to shine because I think they're the most underrated team in the company. I would much rather see them vs Kenny/Hangman over Natural Nightmares

They totally have potential, but they need to dominate for a bit.
