These are awesome.
I have strong memories of this PPV. It was my first PPV ever, so to speak. Well, first ever if you can count listening to the play by play on scrambled channel 1. If not, I'm pretty sure my first was Unforgiven 2003? I think? The first one it could have been was Survivor Series 01, but I don't think it was until late 2003.
I've never bought a PPV in my life. The closest thing is having the Network and watching PPVs live on there.

I’d been a fan 10 years but was in Australia by then and hasn’t seen anything live in years and randomly this show was on free tv. No other before or since. Loved it so much, taped it and must have watched 30 times since.

Because this was the PPV that led to me finding out wrestling was "fake". That's right. I was a silly little girl who thought that what I was seeing was all 100% real. You have to remember, the internet was young back then and it wasn't as though you could just hop online and read the dirt sheets. Heck, the actual WWF website was less than a year old! So yes, I thought what I was watching was real. I didn't know better, I'd only been watching for about a month or so. And when Shane stabbed Austin in the back I was crushed... until I got to school the next day and my boyfriend laughed at me for taking it so personally. He then explained to me that, yes, it's all staged, and the storylines are written before hand. It was the last day of me being a true "Mark" and the next day I launched into full on fan mode, scouring the web for all the info and dirt I could, joining fansites and forums, and basically going head first into all things pro wrestling. So yeah. BIG night for me. Quite the turning point.
