Black hair on the Shane figure, no surprise there. Sad about the lack of a World Cup, but I suppose my custom one will still work.
I'm cackling at them photoshopping his hair darker on the back though. It was darker there, but I don't remember it being THAT dark. I could be wrong though.
I hope that Liv will hold out long enough for me to save up for an order. I may or may not also get the BP, but I'm only moderately interested in the Drew figure, so I may save my money and buy the Shane loose elsewhere.
The headsculpt on the new BP Becky looks pretty decent, far better than the UE. But the paint apps on her legs look atrocious. If they can't be bothered to get the fishnet tights correct, they ought to stop doing Fishnet Tights. I've seen so many figures with issues in the paint/alignment on the legs with fishnets. It drives me bonkers.
I know that they're both BPs, and there's better Elites out there of three of them, but I almost want both the 'Taker/Roman and Drew/Shane sets just so I can have the entirety of that Extreme Rules matchup. Especially after knowing what it meant to everyone involved (from The Last Ride).

Finally a good Becky scan. How many years did it take. Are we getting a Chase Shane with Dark hair and Grey hair because they have both of them in the pictures?

As a passionate follower of his, I have gotten the distinct impression that he has, well, self-image issues. It took 21 years before he took his shirt off (and I'm pretty sure that was a botch). Everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING Merch-wise involving his image from the past 2 years or so has been one of two things. 1. Flashback 2. Photoshopped/Edited to make him look younger. Heck, even his trading cards. Trading cards which specifically involve him? Stuff like the Road to Wrestlemania cards? They don't have his picture on them. And singles trading cards of him are all photographs from around 2016. No. I don't know him personally. I will never claim I do. But I can read signs that I know from myself. It's one of the reasons I have followed him so long. We will never have a gray haired Shane figure ever again. We will also likely never have an updated head sculpt. Besides. We've all read the stories about why Vince isn't on TV anymore. And there's a hell of a lot of Vince in his son. Shane's too much like his old man to ever put himself out there as "Unattractive" |
