If they did a Hasbro style line, I don’t see there being many names out there they could involve that would be decent sellers. Sting and Scott Steiner make sense if they sign. Jericho and Ambrose were released in the WWE retro line and didn’t set the world on fire.

After seeing the latest prototypes, I hope they focus on getting the Unrivaled line right before adding retros ... or basics ... or Rumblers ... or BCAs ... or LJNs ... or zombies ... or werewolves.

Ya BCA style would be really cool. Those figures are starting to get more popular as of late too. Really? 5 years ago you couldn't even give them away for free.

Honestly, no interest in retro style figures at all. My son just got into Fortnite though, and I’m loving their 4” and 3” figure lines. Some of those would be awesome. They’d be easier to display (more room) lol

Jeremy seems a cool dude, but during the jakks days he would promise the earth, hype something up and the disappear when people had questions when it was released.
I like how passionate he is for toys and he comes across as a major dude, but I take everything he says with a massive heap of salt.

Seems that Jeremy is canvassing for feedback on the idea:

Does "retro" mean Hasbro style or "Old School, Retro" figures?

If they can get enough talent to license from the late 80s-90s then I'm all for it. I'm in the same boat, I bought a few retros and having current guys in that style didnt do it for me.

Sounds like I’m in the minority, but, I’d love Hasbro styled AEW wrestlers even if it’s only the current talent. I think guys like Luchasaurus and the Young Bucks and Pentagon and Darby Allin have very cool looks or bright attires that would translate well to the Hasbro style. If this does happen, I’d be all in (pun intended). If they made an Orange Cassidy he could just be molded plastic and wouldn’t move, like an old Galoob figure. But, to each their own.
