What are some of the stupidest things you can recall Vince wanting to change about WWE programming?
The ones that come to the top of my head are when he wanted to basically get rid of the fancier entrances for everyone and have them just walk to the ring and the more recent one of having there be no wrestling during commercial breaks, thus making basically every single match 2/3 Falls.
There was another change where he wanted more Soap Opera style angles and the show's opening video packages were a narrated Soap Opera style recap.

That stretch of time where everyone was banned from actually saying 'wrestling' on the air.
Them full-on stopping the matches any time someone would shed any blood to clean them up and stop the bleeding.

Back around 2004-2005 he had Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho be announced from Atlanta, Georgia and Manhasset, New York because Canadians couldn't be babyface. I always thought that one was odd.

It's probably not even just a WWE thing but it irks me when the champion comes out first in title matches.

The FCW/NXT random name generator in the PG era. Banned words like wrestling, title shot, hospital, etc. The banning of words really confused me. Especially phrases that were synonymous with pro wrestling. When you start forcing talent, especially commentators to replace common words with something more I guess you can say particular, then they just sound extremely unnatural and not genuine. The recent commercial thing really annoyed me for a while. Somebody had told Vince that during live sports they never cut to commercial during the action, so his response was shorter matches and random 2 out of 3 fall matches. This was so out of left field, they couldnt come up with a better strategy than that? |

Im willing to bet that a lot of the "rumored" creative changes arent even made by Vince but get pinned on Vince because hating a old man is easy to do and the cool thing to do these days. We always forget that they have a room full of dimwitted writers on their creative team that majority have never watched a wrestling show before working for the company and most came from stupid things like Soap Operas or got a degree in creative writing from some 2nd rate liberal arts college.
