I'm a little confused about the Flashback Doink Mattel made a while back. I only recall him wearing this attire as a face and not when Matt Borne was in the role but it looks like they used Borne's likeness for the face. Is there an example of Borne actually wearing this attire or is the likeness simply not actually Bornes?  |

They've never had rights to anyone else who portrayed Doink, so they probably used Borne's likeness with a later Doink attire. I don't think that attire appeared until '94, and Borne left at the end of '93.

I love this figure but it sucks he has no accessories. The other Doink had different hair and a bucket they should have given this one a jacket.

Now that they do alternate heads, Doink just screams for another evil Doink. Part of what made Bourne so good in that role was the way his expression could change in a split second.

The Doink character gets a lot of flack for being goofy but the original was and still is one of my favorites. It's a shame he got fired so quickly into his run and we didn't get to see where he could take the character. This could have been the original Fiend. |

Yes, it's easy for people to brush off Doink as wrestlecrap (which Face Doink was), but the original Evil Doink was phenomenal. |

Edit: well I guess you could argue the Jake The Snake and Honky Tonk Man double turn during their feud.
