Are you people even wrestling fans? Some of the things people are complaining about are things that make pro wrestling pro wrestling. If you are complaining about pinfalls then you literally shouldn't watch pro wrestling.

The length of time it takes wrestlers to climb two rungs of a ladder. It defies logic, ing book it up that ladder and you win. But taking so long to build "suspense", it looks ridiculous. It's embarrassing. Some places do ladder matches right, but it ain't WWE. The average time to reach the top of the ladder is about 5 minutes.

All I can see now is mjf in mlw with his fear of heights angle stuck on the first rung forever before making Aria Blake climb it for him 😂.
I really dont get the hate on the Irish whip. Someone tries to throw you towards the ropes/corner you've got 3 options 1) keep running use the ropes and try to counter 2) jam the brakes, which is not only really effing hard on your shins but requires you to stop with your back turned to your opponent 3) faceplant.
I choose option 1 please.

When The Gangstas theme would play during their entire match. Worse is the canned music they play over Natural Born Killas on the Network. I know, right? Trying to watch old ECW on the Network is a pain if you're a fan of the old entrance and theme songs.

You got some guy laid out and the other guy is setting up ladders and tables inside and outside of the ring for spots to be performed later in the match. He coulda climbed up and down the ladder and won the match 20 times by the time it took him to set everything up.

When someone kicks out at 2, and the "pinner" looks at the ref and holds up his fingers. That was three! The ref is all, Nope two!

When The Gangstas theme would play during their entire match. I heard that was done on purpose, it was supposed to be a soundtrack during the match.

Direct punches to the head/face. Foley may be the only human alive that could take ten direct punches to the face and still be standing.

Regardless of what point in the match it is, he'll usually always race up the ladder. I only ever recall seeing him do the slow climb less than a handful of times. The only time i can understand the slow climb, is when the person has had their leg worked on during the match, to which they would logically take longer to climb with the damage.

Holding the tights or using the ropes to cheat during a pin. COME ON. That sooo wouldn't work in real life. Actually, the tights angle does have some validity. If a folkstyle/freestyle wrestler grabs his opponent's singlet, the ref will stop and reset the match. It does give someone extra leverage. There aren't any ropes in competitive wrestling, but the UFC once had the rule that a fighter can't hook his/her fingers/toes in the Octagon fence. He/she was allowed to push off with a open hand/flat foot, but that was it. I haven't watched much MMA in recent years, so I don't know if that's changed, but the "using the ropes" angle at least has the pretense of being cheating.

We’re not going to stop being fans because of the annoyances(at least I’m not).

fans....Ive realized/learned that if you tend to dislodge yourself from the IWC and just sit and watch a show/event...Its actually pretty enjoyable. Even if its stuff that makes you shake your head and laugh and think "thats stupid"...you're still laughing. Its the toxicity of the IWC where its just carries on into a bitch fest to the point that you hate the entire show before you're 1-2 matches in.

I don’t think dislodging yourself from the IWC alone is enough to exempt the current product from valid criticism but I do agree if you’re going to watch the show you should go in with an open mind. The IWC 100% can be toxic, fickle and irrational (see anybody baselessly blaming the shift to PG) but at the end of the day everybody who is a real fan of this industry just wants the show to be better.

People who always bring up so and so should be pushed better or used right.
That has always gotten on my nerves.

I typically watch by myself, avoid online, and then come in with my thoughts afterwards. Not everything lands, but that's okay. Meanwhile the IWC acts like everything is the end of the world if it's not exactly how they'd do it.

While I'm here.... I HATE when "journalists" ruin big surprises. How cool would Edge's WWE return had been if we had no idea ahead of time? How cool would the Escobar reveal been if it wasn't reported he wasn't going to be wearing a mask for long? It's easy to say don't read dirt sheets, but in this day and age, it's impossible to avoid. Anyone every noticed how Meltzer has no issue ruining WWE's surprises, yet doesn't reveal other companies?

Ruins all of Takers 2000-01 matches I can’t watch ecw on the network because the dubbing over the awesome music ruins everything for me and yes I know why they have to. DDP’s wcw and Rick Rude’s late 80s WWF themes are dubbed over now, but weren’t before! Don’t even get me started on the dubbing over of Hillbilly Jim’s theme.
