Has there been any announcement, when the RnB Greg will go up for pre-order? All it said in that one IG-picture is the date. But nothing else +1 The silence leading upto Valentine and Haku was not good! I also don't appreciate the way exclusives are being given to companies we've never heard of and certain FB groups. Not being able to buy direct is frustrating. No ETA. Who do you contact in 12 months if no fig?

At the moment I’m considering cancelling my Chella pre-orders and just sticking with Mattel and Junk Shop Dog. Even though I have to wait with Mattel pre-orders, they generally get them out earlier than the expected date.

No idea but I figure if even Zombie can offer refunds then surely so would Chella.

Right so americans get their figures before uk based people do, when the toy company is uk based. Says everything, us brits get screwed over yet again. I've contacted Chella about that previously and received a response saying that they would be addressing their shipping/distribution in coming months, so hopefully we will get shipments to their UK customers at the same time (if not before) than their US distributors, but we can only wait and see
Baffles me at this point. Bugger knows when Blue Haystacks and Big Daddy will actually arrive at this point.

So on the pod they mentioned the guy from chella’s father is ill and he is having to care for him.
I know a lot on here think I’m a dick and your probably right, but I do have compassion and family comes first and I’m very sad to hear about that and wish him the best.
However, this is an example of why it’s important in business to factor in for contingencies for if and when things don’t go to plan, why the getting 1 figure out, not signing loads and trying to get an empire built up before your lemonade stand is fully operational.
But I do want to reiterate that I can’t imagine what the guys going through and genuinely want to pass on my best wishes. Maybe we hold fire discussing delays, lack of communication etc ivo the circumstances? Just a thought? Appreciate not everyone listens to the major pod so thought I’d share.

Yep, I'm definitely out on the Chella Greg and will get the Mattel Retro since it'll be in a boxset anyway. Curious if Chella Greg happens at all, now. Zombie lost RVD because of a Mattel deal, PowerTown pulled Dibiase because of the same. Well we’ll find out soon enough - I believe the Chella Greg goes up for pre-order tomorrow morning! From my personal experience, Mattel retros mostly look like complete and utter bollocks. Just my opinion. They do look crap, though.

The more I think about the Valentine release, the less I understand the logic. Why would anyone want a gimmick card featuring a crowd scene with four random strangers included in the image? I suspect the majority of people are interested in the Chellas because of their similarity to the Hasbro line and Valentine was a very significant missing piece. To not honour it with a Hasbro style card that fits in with the rest of the Chellas is a terrible idea. I believe they have got the design of the actual figure spot but they seem to have lost their minds with this idea. I wonder if I'm in the minority with this line of thought? Also wonder how receptive they would be to the feedback if enough people suggested a standard card is preferred?

I think you're probably right. It does feel like a quick reaction to the Mattel reveal to try for a different selling point but I think they're going down the wrong path personally. They've done a really good job of capturing the Hasbro look up till now so I hope that continues. Even if they just make the gimmick card an option.

That answers my points about the lack of info prior to pre-orders and why things are being outsourced. The discussiin about the card taking a year to design is silly though. Couple of hours on computer, e-mails, approved, done

It's interesting to see these attires getting made from Chella. Al Snow looks exactly the same as his WWF run so looks like Jazwares could make him in the Luminaries line.

Completely agreed; the normal card as standard with this design as an alternative, like they did with Al Snow would’ve been my preference. The empty white card they showed obviously doesn’t give us any indication what will be the final product, but changing the logo and the colour scheme without a standard card alternative worries me for OCD reasons I’ve seen some questions along this line on social media but not seen a response yet, has anyone seen anything further on the carding?

In the magazine interview a little while ago, Charles said that they are in touch with WWE to clear things with them ahead of time, so maybe they have developed a relationship now that helps with such things? I remember Chella spoke about doing the Barbarian antler singles gear down the road, which the other guy had answered a generic question about once as being the IP of WWE so he wouldn’t be able to do it, so maybe that indicates a relationship between the companies. Or it could just be freely available, which is probably more likely

I'm still a bit disgruntled at the lack of clarity on Chella's end, I mean there's surely more than one person working for them who is able to use the internet to communicate with people. It's a business, after all. That being said, it is distressing news and I do have sympathy for the situation, so I'm not going to throw my toys out of the pram now I know the issue, but I would like to reiterate that there is surely another person who is able to handle the business side of the operation, or there at least should be.

The Chella Greg is much better than the Mattel one in my opinion. The carding idea is cool, but not for me. There's been a couple of exceptions, but those Mattel retros just look like McDonalds happy meal toys to me. The Lex Luger looks abysmal, absolutely no improvement on the horrid Warrior/Cena moulds from the earlier series. I kind of like the Bret Hart, but the line just honestly feels like an afterthought compared to these other independent companies who are making retros. I keep hearing how the guy in charge of the Mattel retros is a big Hasbro fan... And I'm struggling to see that with the stuff they're content to put out.

Didn't see this. Doink looks great, from that design, anyway. I'm not interested in Tugboat, Valentine looks like Glenn Danzig and Luger has that dreadful Warrior Cena mould. The fact that you have to buy these as a set is a complete letdown on Mattel's part.
