Received: Dynamite Kid & Adam Bomb. On order: Al Snow, Gangrel, Haku & Greg Valentine. Not sure of my £100-ish outstanding orders will get made/arrive. Pretty sure they said Gangrel was paused, Haku, Greg hadn't started any form of production so don't have High hopes on them. No idea on Al Snow.

I asked for a refund on my Sabu order as well as my bWo and Haku order. All were processed within a few days. Super strange whatever is going on with the silence on figs people already paid for and all the noise on pre-orders …. But they did refund me, so props to them at least on that.

as far as I'm aware from their posts/replies, Al Snow was wrapping up production and would soon be headed to the UK for shipping - that means WT would receive it in about a month (give or take) and then can ship them out from there

I've contacted Wrestling Trader regarding a refund on my Chella pre-orders. I'll let you all know how it pans out 🤷 I requested a refund on my big daddy preodrder the day wrestlingtrader put out the update from chella on the 27th Sept. I messaged and emailed several times since and not had any refund back at all. Wrestlingtrader has been brilliant and replied to me saying they would pass this on but bathing at all from chella. I mean over 2 weeks is more than long enough to process the refund and the biggest problem for some is it well over the paypal recovery help period. If you post a refund is possible do it in a reasonable amount of time its very disappointing and its this that is burning so many bridge's with their customers

What an absolute shame.

I'm happy to give Wrestling Trader a week or so, as they're probably getting a fair few emails, but hopefully I hear back soon. I definitely recall seeing a post about them offering refunds, so you've got to imagine they'll come through on that.

Chella guys actions have sealed the fate on this line. Nobody is going to want to jump on now, regardless of who is running it.

The reply I had from wrestlingtrader said that they couldn't actually do the refunds and that was down to chella. Sent another email to both today chasing my refund so we'll have to see what happens. So sad that it's turning people on what was a great product and can only hope things turn around eventually and it's not too late.

I've got Big Daddy, Sabu & Meanie tied up with Chella.
I want all of them, but kinda don't wanna wait another year!

It sounds like the issues have been due to a ‘rep’/ middle man….this is not an uncommon issue - I was consulting a client who had a few million pounds tied up in some industrial fishing boats being manufactured (although in Phillipines, not China) and the rep/ middle man had disappeared with a lot of the money while the boats had not been completed. My client was having to go through all kinds of legal processes to get things sorted out.
In my mind it sounds like Chella may have had similar issues; which could also explain the need to change factories ( which could also be due to quality issues).
So in contrast to a lot of the anxiety and/ or doom mongering, I think it seems more likely that Chella are trying to get everything back on track and still plan to release everything - and in their mind the best way to streamline their focus to that end is to pass on distribution and direct customer communications.
Makes sense to me.

Makes sense to me. That could all be true, or it could be something else entirely, but nobody would really ever know because Chella have opted to stay radio silent throughout most of this last few months. That's a lot of the problem right there. While I believe that they may have some sort of coherent issues going on, what I don't believe is that not one representative could come out and give one single coherent explanation of what's going on despite still putting out pre-orders and promoting future endeavours. That's simply bad business etiquette.

Don’t buy it that there’s an issue with the middle man. Hornswoggle’s figure seemingly has a pretty quick turn around from announcement to release if it’s it believed that it’s being shipped in November. Which is a total joke and spits in the face of people who have year old preorders with no communication.

Yup, coming up a full year now since I ordered with Chella. First it was to be released in March, then May, then "soon", then "it's nearly there", then "not long to go" and now? Well they seem to have done a runner with everyone's cash.
I'll be contacting my bank today to get a refund.

Spoke to my bank and for this kind of transaction ie not tickets then 120 days is the cut off for a chargeback refund.
So either we wait and hope Chella comes up with the goods, get w refund from them or maybe band together to form legal action.

Total crock that there is still no word on uncensored dynamite. I even posted on here that I was hesitant to order Sabu and I stupidly did anyway and boom now I’m out in the cold on both.

I’m still waiting on 6 from wrestling trader and 4 from chella. The last figure I paid for was gangrel. Stopped after that and I’m glad I did

Yeah, there's really been no solid, coherent explanation put forward about any of this. It's all a bit confusing as it seemed like Wrestling Trader were saying that they'd be making refunds possible, but then they're telling people that it's down to Chella, and Chella aren't really responding to emails. 🤷

Check what you should report to Trading Standards
You should report a business to Trading Standards if they sold you something:
they scammed you - for example, you paid for something online that you didn’t receive and you couldn’t contact the seller

as hopeful that I am that Chella isn't finished, and it's not become a money grab/scam, I'm somewhat skeptical now after reading that even GrappleArcade can't contact Chella, despite being the host of the (as then) "official" Chella podcast....
it just seems somewhat odd when Chella's own business partners and other publicity relationships can't even contact them
