Sent a message to Wrestling Trader about a refund and got a pretty quick response. Unfortunately it just seems like they're passing it on to Chella to handle. I emailed them yesterday and as of writing, had no reply. |

Nobody would accept that kind of behaviour from any other legitimate company, but when it comes to wrestling figures, we're supposed to be tiptoeing through the tulips and daffodils and wishing everybody well while our moolah sits in their bank accounts. Phenomenal. |

I suggest reporting Chella to trading standards and/or taking to small claims court (easier if a few band together to do this as one application)

Crazy to think that Chella Toys who have released (to my knowledge), and not including chase variations - (Nick Aldis, Ethan Page, Hayabusa, Dynamite Kid, Bull Nakano, Adam Bomb, Jay White, Giant Haystacks & Big Daddy) and were generally seen to be the more customer friendly, "little train that could" company producing Retro style figures...
and then we had the polarising and delay-ridden promises of Zombie Sailor Toys who has produced Matt Cardona, Brian Myers, Earl Hebner, Sabu, Dino Bravo, "soon-to-be-apparently" Jeff Jarrett & DanHausen....and a Series 2 made up of another 6 talents....
Who would have thought that at this point you are more likely to actually get your product - with significant time line delays and broken scheduling promises - from ZST. Additionally, come mid to late 2023, ZST may also have actually delivered more product into consumers hands than Chella!?!

Apologies if this has been shared before, but I don’t recall seeing it mentioned other than discussions/ questioning - so for anyone who’s interested (not me! 😂), apparently the Hornswoggle figure is 3.5” tall, and the height was increased to allow them to get better detail in the tattoos. Hopefully this is a net positive. The company started hot out of the gate, but clearly there were some major underlying issues.

two things - first, well done to Charles and Ella for taking the leap and starting a company, that in itself is worth congratulating.
lots of people spout the "If I ran the place...." mantra, but these guys actually did it - they had an idea, started up and actually delivered a number of figures to customers across the world, for wrestlers who frankly were not going to get figures of their own, without the work of this company. I think that in itself is worthy of respect from the community.
secondly, it's a shame that the company is changing hands but hopefully, given the professional way that Wrestling Trader have been handling this thing throughout, the future looks a bit clearer in terms of where it goes next. Wrestling Trader (and FC) are both confirming that all pre-orders to date are going to be delivered, so at the very least, if you've ordered bWo, Gangrel, Big Daddy or others, then you'll receive the figures you've ordered.
that said, let's hope that if Wrestling Trader are at the helm, they'll be able to dedicate more time to actually running the brand and coordinating things like production cycles and announcements to customers - that is where I believe Chella fell down, lack of communication and seemingly not focusing on the production properly, so let's hope that WT can have someone in control of the operation to ensure that their factories are delivering what their promotional artwork suggests, and can work on it full time to run social media campaigns etc
we shall see, but at least we now know what the immediate future looks like for the orders we've placed
