I really hope they fix Andre's head and torso. The yellow trunks are such an awesome, iconic look... be a shame to not do that WM moment justice.

Not far off a month after contacting Wrestling Trader and I've heard zilch.
Either they're busy answering millions of emails from the millions of people around the world who bought niche Chella retro wrestling figures, or they're averaging about a handful of emails a day. I seriously doubt that it's the former as I seriously doubt that even thousands of people were buying Chellas, and I seriously hope it's not the latter, because if so, that's bad form.
Gotta hope that those spreadsheets that they were waiting on receiving from Chella were actually complete, otherwise a lot of customers are gonna lose their moolah and their figures.

The radio silence is an awful look Even a holding “we got your request, we’re working through logistics, we’ll contact you as soon as poss” would do in place of silence. I feel sorry for the guy who used to come on here to try and give updates and keep everything rolling (elephant town?) because he seemed like a good guy and wasn’t defensive etc but the companies themselves have t helped him |

I did send them my orders with order no. asking for a status update. Figured it’ll help to give them as much order details as possible to make it as easy as possible for them to give an honest answer. Let’s see how it turns out. I’ll keep you guys posted. |

I don't see the latest update posted in this thread yet: http://instagram.com/p/CkQ2BJasXPw Big step-up in terms of communication at the very least, hopefully they can keep that openness going forward as I think that's key to restoring faith in the brand. |

My refund went into my account a few days ago. I'd say contact them again. Got an email yesterday from them saying they’d contact Chella for it to be refunded, and that it could take a few days so fingers crossed. I emailed Wrestling Trader again today, basically the same email copy and pasted. About an hour ago I got a Royal Mail notification that I've got an item with Wrestling Trader due to be sent out soon. I'm assuming that's the Dynamite variant, which is good. No word on Daddy or blue Haystacks, but I guess white Dynamite is going to be next from that update. |

I had a notification from Royal Mail that my Wrestling Trader parcel is due to be delivered today.
Still no reply about my refund on Blue Haystacks, Big Daddy and white Dynamite. 🤷

So I've had a reply from Wrestling Trader, but they've asked for my order number to pass onto Chella, but I can't bloody find it! 😄
I've got my PayPal receipt for the 3 figures I want to be refunded on, but I can't for the life of me locate any messages from Chella with my order number on. Where did you guys get yours? I don't often delete stuff like that, so I don't know what's happened to them.

Got my '88 Dynamite today. Looks decent on card but the shape of the bubble around the face sort of makes it difficult to see his face clearly in certain light, that's not a criticism or anything, just my observation, but it made my decision to open him easier.
Since I've asked for a refund on the original Dynamite, this is my only version of him I've had up close. He's a little odd looking, with his wide stance, big torso and pose, and his boots are definitely a little big.
Ultimately, I'd have loved to have a figure of Billington as a kid, and am happy to have one now, and I'd rather it be this version as I wasn't totally sold on the Bulldog attire version, but I get why they did it.
I'd like to see Wrestling Trader do a totally new take on Dynamite down the road, though I don't think they will.

Shame that - for me at least - this update and reveal of sorts of the 1997 "Hallowen Havoc" Eddie Guerrero comes after so much drama, radio silence and negative sentiment towards Chella Toys. Whilst the figure looks pretty good, I'm very hesitant to drop any money on these for a while before I start receiving and hearing more success stories of deliveries arriving at people's doors

I've actually just finally received my Dynamite Kid variant and had Wrestling Trader contact me about my refund on the other 3 figures I'd pre-ordered, so I think things are slowly being put right. I'm not gonna go all in on any of these lines, tbh, but I'll pick up a couple here and there. Definitely Guerrero for me, Onita, Street, Bulldog etc, though the Bulldog prototype didn't really bowl me over. |

Expect it in five years time. yes I am always the pessimist until I receive what I am owed XD whilst I will say it's not Wrestling Trader's fault that they've taken on Chella (basically to get product manufactured and shipped!) because the previous management had moved onto other priorities, I have to agree that "Chella" still needs to resolve their backlog before expecting people to buy more and more products
by all means announce - but give realistic timescales for the products you're announcing from this point onwards. if WT can deliver all of what has been ordered to date within the next few months, and can realistically begin churning out new figures and have them shipped from factory on a rate of at least 1 per month, they'll be able to close 2023 in a good place
until then, maybe hold off on announcements of even more retro style figures until the existing 2022 backlog is resolved
