This one? Wasn't this the first figure Mattel released of Doink (other than the red boots)? I think it featured in the Jakks classic line first with black boots. It's just odd to think that we never saw any retro version of the attire. They might still make him. It appears that WWE/Mattel have the rights to him, its possible that he may end up in the retro line or the superstars line soon.

Superstars line with rooted hair (like the original princess of power she-ra range) would be good
I think one of the issues is the amount of deco on this attire. You’d need a couple of very plain figures to balance the cost of the line

As Red Devil was saying, it's a real possibility. My only gripe would be having to buy a set of 4 or 5 figures just to get him, but hopefully the rest of the set might be worth it.

I'm still hopeful of getting the HBK one day, but the prices are around £40-£50 to import from the states.

Doink aside, a retro Maniac Matt Bourne would be great.

I agree, having the hair not molded plastic but like the Hasbro Doink figure would be awesome.

If we're going full-on "Hasbro's that were not," for the third wave a good fourth for the bundle would be any one of long tights Macho King (a more detailed version of the mini), puncher HBK or Mega Maniacs Beefcake, any one would go nicely. I understand the want for R&B Greg but Chella looks to have that covered. Not sure the Roman puncher body would look good on Shawn, but pretty much anything is an improvement on S7 HBK.

I would take all of those. A long tights Macho King would be very high on my want list. And, ever since I saw the puncher HBK I've wanted it. I think with some retooling of the Reigns figure, they could make a HBK. I was able to get a really good custom of the R&B Hammer, so I don't really need that, but if it came out nice, I'd get it.

Long tights Macho would be epic, especially in one of his colourful outfits, as would another HBK, though I'm trying my best to secure a Hasbro HBK which I've wanted since I was a kid, lol. A new Owen would also be fantastic, but I dunno if that's a possibility.

I can't ever see Mattel getting the rights to Owen unfortunately, but I'm holding out a sliver of hope that one of these independent companies gets a shot at it some day. A prime 1994 Owen Hart is one of the biggest holes in the original line. If only Hasbro had held on another year we absolutely would have gotten it.

Definitely, in hot pink with the pink shades like he wore in early '94, it's a serious gap, a bit like 93/94 Bulldog, which we may now actually be getting. 🤞 There's a slight hope that now we're seeing Owen's estate allowing AEW to produce merch that they're open to other independent companies doing it, but it all depends on how much it's gonna cost them.

I've recently had an issue with PayPal while trying to buy a long sought after figure, so I'm just waiting for that to pan out.

I'm still pretty perplexed by the lack of Chella clarification on the Dynamites, Haystacks, Daddy etc.
Also, what's going on with the other names that were announced way back like Adrian Street, Warhorse, Bulldog etc. What series is the Demolition, Road Warriors, Mo etc in? There's been quite a few announcements so I'm curious as to how many series are already in the pipeline.

I think in the Chella magazine interview that Charles spoke about having talked with the Owen Hart Foundation about doing something but that it didn’t work-out when they later signed with AEW - though I might be misremembering exactly but I think that’s accurate. But is their deal with AEW an exclusive one? If not then we still have hope a deal could be reached with a Retros company - has there been an Owen brawler since the AEW deal was announced? He still has a PWT store I think but they work with AEW so not sure if that tells us anything anyway. I don’t think Jazware will do a Retro line despite Jeremy teasing it occasionally - I think for him that Retros could mean LJN and that’s where his fandom is for the older style figures. But if they did launch such a line then you’d have to think Owen would be a series 1 release right there

Same here, I ordered Adam Bomb, Dynamite and Gangrel through Figure Collections, Bomb arrived shortly thereafter and I've heard nothing about Dynamite and Gangrel since. I understand they're at the mercy of Chella's distribution and nobody has Gangrel yet, but it's more than 0% concerning to have no info on Dynamite while more and more pop up on eBay. The reason I got into these are because of what's coming in the pipeline, many you mentioned but also Eddie and DDP. Safe to say that's log-jammed at the present time. Just turned 27 in February, I'm thinking a couple of these may end up as a 30th B-Day present to myself

My real hope is a Jazwares Galoob style line, but a proper Galoob style, not like the statue-esque resin figures of Aldo Montoya etc. I'm not gonna see that happen but I can dream, lol.
