AEW - 788,000 viewers
0.29 in the Demo 18-49 for 5th place, even beating Guys Grocery Games.
NxT did 631,000 and was 49th in the Demo. Yeah they got trounced.
Some things happened last night that I didn’t like but I enjoyed the show for the most part. Mainly my fandom for Brian Cage got in the way lol. However I think this shows you that you need to feature The Elite, Cody, Jericho, Mox, Cage and Lucha Bros. I think they are the ratings getters that people love. Throw in Page and FTR and that brewing storyline and you’ve got great TV.

Not surprised. It was a Pay-Per-View quality show/card. They go back to squash matches with Wardlow/Archer and whatnot... they go right back down.
They don’t have a deep enough roster to do these “special shows” week after week, while keeping it fresh and entertaining. Neither does NXT.

Not surprised. It was a Pay-Per-View quality show/card. They go back to squash matches with Wardlow/Archer and whatnot... they go right back down. They don’t have a deep enough roster to do these “special shows” week after week, while keeping it fresh and entertaining. Neither does NXT. Too many of the guys we saw last night aren’t featured regularly and they should. Bucks need to be on the show every week along with Kenny/Page, Lucha Bros, Jericho and such. |

Too many of the guys we saw last night aren’t featured regularly and they should. Bucks need to be on the show every week along with Kenny/Page, Lucha Bros, Jericho and such. However, with that you risk not having your lower mid-card guys on. Which I feel they wanna try to help get over. Sonny Kiss, Darby Allin, Wardlow, MJF, Jurassic Express, etc. Eventually some of those guys are going to have to be buried and given up on. That’s one thing I noticed about AEW, trying to make everyone important often leaves no one important. And with NWA rumored to be done, you have a handful of guys who can work and look the part to possibly include. AEW needs to move away from some people like Janella, like Stunt. You’ve got legit guys out there like Rusev and potentially Nick Aldis, James Storm, Eli Drake and others. |

Bittersweet lol. Would love to get Nick Aldis and Kamille over your AEW. Wild Cards Latimer and Issacs and Storm and Drake would be great tag additions. |

Aldis could be something for sure, and if Eli could finally develop into the potential he seems to have then he'd be a welcome addition, too. as for the ratings, I'm not gonna get caught up in them, but happy to see the product have success. |
