So Luger beats HOgan on Nitro, wins WCW title huge celebration.
Road Wild Hogan wins the title back, BUT what if WCW decided to keep the title on Luger and have Hogan go in a different direction?
Obviously the build was for Hogan/Sting but did you really need Hogan to have the title for that? I say NO!
Have Hogan vs Luger at Hog Wild and just as Hogan is about to win, here comes Sting who distracts Hogan and Luger uses that to his advantage and retains the belts.
Hogan says he's not worried about the WCW title anymore, he wants STING
Hogan didnt compete at Fall Brawl anyway so not a big deal,on Nitro you have Luger defend the title against say Scott Hall, and Nash and Syxx and KOnnan interfere but here comes the Four Horseman to help Luger, because it's ANYONE BUT THE NWO
so Fall Brawl you have Hall, Nash, Syxx, Buff Bagwell and Konnan vs Benoit, McMichael,Flair, Henning and Luger with NWO winning as Henning turns on Luger and The Four Horseman
Halloween Havoc you have Luger vs Henning with Luger retaining and Hogan vs Piper still happens with Hogan winning though and Sting appears at the end
World War 3, Hogan wins the match and the next night on NITRO STING announces he wants Hogan at Starrcade.
Sting defeats Hogan at Starrcade, Luger faces Nash which Nash wins
Nash becomes the leader of the NWO amd starts cutting the weaker parts of the NWO as Hogan dissapears and at Superbrawl Sting defeats NASH for the title
The next night Sting throws the title down saying he doesn't need a title. His one job was to disband the NWO. Hogan's music hits though (Voodoo child) and Hogan says since he won World War 3 back in November he is the #1 contender when he cashes it in and since Sting officially vacated the title, Hogan is champ.
James J Dillon announces that is true so Hogan becomes champ. Sting points his bat at J.J. Dillon and calls him a coward and Sting leaves WCW.Over the summer Luger gets jumped by the Nwo and Sting comes out to save Luger, so Luger and Sting become a tag team. Nash confronts Hogan feeling Hogan is only out for himself NOT the NWO.Cracks start to show
So now the NWO is back BUT WEAKER and you feed each member to Goldberg as he defeats Hogan at Starrcade to win the title and that officially disbands the NWO, it's just the Wolfpack now (Nash, Hall, Konnan, Scott Steiner, Henning).
The next night on Nitro Goldberg comes out to a massive applause. The Wolfpack comes out and surrounds the ring and jump Goldberg but out comes Sting who chases them away, Sting raises Goldberg's hand and Sting ends the Crow gimmick. Hogan returns in the summer in the red and yellow and feuds with Nash, while Goldberg hold on to the tile for a year and a half before losing to Bret Hart. Sting feuds with guys like Benoit, Eddie Guerrero while Luger and Steiner feud.
