Definitely a guy that was a friend to the wrestling business. He treated it, and wrestlers he'd have on his show, with respect, and never looked down on them. RIP.

RIP Regis Philbin. He seemed like a genuine wrestling fan and deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame more than most of the celebrities already in there.

Hell of a great guy who, like it was said, a friend of pro wrestling. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say a bad thing about Regis. Definitely a legend lost. There will never be anyone like Regis...ever.

I found out from a Pee-Wee Herman tweet, (I'm not kidding) I think I'd like all of my bad news told to me like that.
I've never heard a bad thing about the guy. Regis seemed like a total class act.

He was a great one! He never seemed ashamed to have wrestlers on his show or promoting wrestling on his show. I’ve been a wrestling fan since Wrestlemania 7 and he was a part of that. His segments were great. Paul Bearer said in a shoot interview how great he was to he and Undertaker when they appeared on the show whereas Kathy Lee Gifford was a bitch(which I can believe). My mother was a big Regis fan and even attended a show.
RIP Regis Philbin
