I've seen all figures from Series 2 and 3 on shelves here in Canada, except for the only two that I actually wanted...Macho and Taker.

I never saw a single figure from wave three in any walmart. Love the series - cannot find wave 3 any where, may have to bite the bullet and buy them for ebay prices unfortunately if wave 4 is already hitting. Periodically check walmart.com. Ive seen all of them except undertaker appear for 14.99 or so at times the past week or two. |

Which of these figures can double as ‘remco’ style figures with the armour etc removed - ie like macho can
(The wrist gauntlets moulded etc are acceptable as that can’t be removed)

Which of these figures can double as ‘remco’ style figures with the armour etc removed - ie like macho can (The wrist gauntlets moulded etc are acceptable as that can’t be removed) Most of the figures look like wrestlers when you remove their armor and accessories. Both versions of Triple H, Ultimate Warrior, Sting, Finn Balor, Macho Man, Rey Mysterio, John Cena from the Grayskullmania ring, Roman Reigns, and The Rock all resemble their in-ring looks. For upcoming figures (based on pictures), it looks like Hulk Hogan and almost Stone Cold (his eyes are snake eyes) as well as Mr. T, Seth Rollins, and The Fiend. If you mean figures that actually look like Remcos, someone else would have to answer that because I'm only familiar with one or two Remcos. If you just mean "plain" wrestlers with classic trunks, it's a much shorter list. |

The Monroe NY store had 2 of everyone from the Undertaker set on the pegs today. Oof - that's tough to see after just spending about $24'ish each on the secondary market. Not TOO much of a price difference, but I'd love to be able to walk into a store and purchase these, just don't see that happening with this wave. My impatience got the best of me. Good on you for being able to grab those if desired though. |

Seeing this picture I have to repost my post from another thread: Overhere in Germany we have 1 (ONE) shop who is offering the Masters of the WWE Universe. My S4 order got set back to a S5 order due to the high demand. Great for the line - however the lack of suppliers is killing it over here. Let’s hope they do it better on your end of the world. If anybody would be willing to help a fellow freak from overseas to get his hands on these figures, I would highly appreciate. I am basically searching every figure from S1 to current. Cheers |

I haven't purchased any of these yet, but the line is starting to grow on me for the sole fact that you can take the He-man outfits off. I am not a He-man fan even though i grew up in the 80's. Never really watched the cartoon nor collected the figures. My only concern for getting into these is i can see the line coming to an abrupt end just like all the other cross over lines. Plus i know Mattel is trying hard to cash in on their actual MOTU orgins line. Isn't there a new movie being produced too? I just don't know how long the line will last. would suck if waves 4 and 5 were the end of it.

I don't know (think) they'd tell us if the line was doing poorly, but by all accounts it's doing very well. It's one of those weird crossovers that almost none of us would have thought made sense but happens to work extremely well. I don't want to jinx it, but I'd bet next week's pay that it won't end after wave 4/what we've been shown.

I think it's a good blend of figure for those who love the retros ( a lot of us) and kids who were probably looking for more then what they got with retros. I do think it is doing well. I just hope they don't pull it because it's related to a specific brand (He-man). I do love how they are mixing the retro guys into the line. We're getting Hogan, Jake, Steamboat and Piper next. I hope they can do Andre.

After reading the comments here, I feel somewhat lucky to have found the set with Taker & Rock, but this is one of those rare sets for me where I try to have one MOC and loose of each I buy, so I'm still trying to find another of each. No luck so far.

After reading the comments here, I feel somewhat lucky to have found the set with Taker & Rock, but this is one of those rare sets for me where I try to have one MOC and loose of each I buy, so I'm still trying to find another of each. No luck so far. I don't think they've hit in a lot of places yet. Series 2 is still on the shelves in a few walmarts around me and those walmarts usually get eveything, unless it's that Harley Race Flashback series. The AEW line just hit 2 weeks ago and i remember it was found at walmarts weeks before that. |

Went ahead and pre-ordered the Hogan / Austin ring just to avoid any further retail hassle.

Jake wouldn’t work out of the package but maybe the snakeskin paint on the torso can be removed with some acetone or clear nail polish. That or a torso swap with same skin tone. Braun also would require you to remove the Beast Man makeup from his face. Should be easy with some acetone and a qtip. Austin has snake eyes so a headswap with a regular Mattel would probably be needed. |
