Okay first off the head and accessories look great. After that however it all goes to crap! The pants are the wrong color and too baggy. Now onto the main culprit. They used the hacksaw torso which is made for a bare Chested person and simply painted it red!? If this isn’t lazy then what is? I understand mattel has 100s of figures they are always working on however incorrect colors not even incorrect shade of colors are inexcusable. Painted bare chested torsos for wrestlers supposed to be wearing clothes also terrible. We have already seen that with hardy figures. Okay rant over

This has been said by a lot of people. I wish it had a customized torso too, it would make all the difference. It’ll prob sell well regardless though due to the exclusivity of the puppets

After looking at the pics I noticed you can see the belly button even though he’s supposed to be wearing a sweater. A red cloth sweater would set this figure off! The accessories are well done at least.

And we need huskus! How do you not add huskus! The funhouse doesn’t feel complete without huskus. Unless they do a fitness bray with huskus?

Pure trash. I also think RSC should make a poll with which elites they are considering for an exclusive and let us vote!

The basic looks incredible. I'm sure the RSC exclusive will look just as good when we see the final version. That was just an early prototype.

Per Steve on his Q&A thread: “You’re essentially getting what you saw in that photo with the belly button sculpted details removed.”
That is still rather disappointing, particularly given how good the basic version they just released photos of looks. I am seriously thinking of cancelling my order.

I'll be honest, I feel like a lot of the RSE are just thrown together. I mean look at the DX Shawn Michaels (so many inaccuracies), Hardcore exclusive Kane, Kurt Angle shield figure, Wolfpac Sting and now this Bray. I think you're mostly paying for a highly decorated box at times. I have no means to get this figure, but I feel the frustration. It's just thrown together, Hacksaw torso and Bray Wyatt pants, then you look at the basic and it has the proper tooling. This kind of stuff is happening too frequently and I think at this point some of these "don't like it, don't buy it" guys might be right. You can hurt them with your wallet BUT... The issue with this is if you don't support the line then you get no figures. I'm still upset about the WCW Bret being the wrong color. For those of you who see my posts I've been REQUESTING this figure for a long time. So I know what it's like to have something like this happen because chances are we'll never get another WCW Bret. They could of used any shade of pink like the previous Brets and it wouldn't have been as bad... For the most part, Mattel does an astounding job on their figures and I believe they set the bar for creating wrestling figures with scaling, unique molds etc. They should continue to do deliver like they once did, lately they've been cheapening out and cutting a lot of corners. They should be called out on it because otherwise it will just get worse.

Hard pass anyways. I’m sure all the puppets (including Huskis) will be released again somehow for retail.

Did those puppet molds eat that much budget?

This set is a joke. Are those finger puppets?
The basic looks better. The entire situation stinks.
Just wait with UE Fiend and best of 2021. The loom doesn't change. So get ready for loads of reprint. I'm happy to over look this crap. I got the first Fiend. Dont need puppets, I'm done

It's not something that would have appealed to me as an Elite anyway when the basic is nearly identical at 1/3 the price.
But I guess I don't totally understand the tooling process or costs. Wouldn't it cost them as much to re-tool the lower torso with a filled in belly button as it would to re-tool the upper torso with sweater texture? Maybe it was just a matter of quick turnaround.
But I assume that the cost of tooling a new object is relatively similar, maybe varying a bit on size. The overall range of torso options always felt a little limited, yet we see new tooling for entrance coats, accessories, etc constantly. Maybe there's more to it than I'm aware, but personally I'd like to see tooling spent on a wider range of more accurate torsos than on accessories that just get tossed in a box both for this Bray and the line as a whole.

It really is sad how much better the basic is, and how they think the elite is excusable the way it is, just with the belly button removed. They should’ve waited instead of just throwing something together. You can’t really say it was rushed, when both the Fiend elite and Bray basic are coming out before this elite, and have almost entirely new sculpts. This really is just pure laziness on their part

I just cancelled my pre-order of this. The more I stared at the photos, compared it to the better basic and shook my head a few times, I realized I just can’t justify putting away $28 for it. I feel like buying this would r͏e͏war͏d this laziness or incentivize it to happen again. I’m hoping they end up changing it and releasing new photos, at which point I will consider buying it. I hardly ever am critical of their choices and hate posting this, but this was just too much.

The only thing that can save the RSC Exclusive is packaging which I'm sure will be great. The basic is much better though, although I wish it had a waving hand.

Just a guess but they might be coming up to the end of their deal with WWE. Just like Jakks started phoning it in the last couple of years. Maybe they are just getting lazy. Rocky Johnson is another example. He doesn't have much to detail to start with aside from the initials on the boots and trunks. So to also leave out the very simple tattoos is another sign of not going too far into detail. I dont know maybe im wrong atleast i hope i am and its just a few things that fell through the cracks.
