The decision was reversed almost instantly, but he was acknowledged as champion by Schiavone

The only guy from that faction that I thought had any potential at being a World Champion is Sean O'Haire

Part of what the Cat says in his promo there, was one of the major problems during WCW at the time. Continuously calling Russo the writer. How Russo thought it was so 'brilliant' to acknowledge the creative part of wrestling, that we all know exists, is part of what made so much of their shows crap. It's like when they were pushing how Goldberg refused to follow the script, in the match with Kevin Nash. It just amazed me, with how much Russo was exposed during that WCW run, that he ever was able to work in creative ever again after.

The only guy from that faction that I thought had any potential at being a World Champion is Sean O'Haire He was criminally underutilized in wwe. He had all the tools to be a top guy in wwe and don’t get me started on how unique the devil’s advocate gimmick was and how they did nothing with it. I hear he had an attitude problem, yeah so did Shawn Michaels from 95-98!

I can honestly say I don't remember this happening. My guess is I wasn't watching Nitro at that time in my life too much because I was in college and Nitro came on for me at like midnight up here in Canada on TSN.

The best part of this match is Ernest Miller calling Palumbo "Goldilocks", Reno "Igor" & Madden "Fat Ass".

Dixie Carter being in love with Russo helped him have a job as a booker from 2002-2014. But really, he only had 2 years of success and 20 years of failure following that.
