I think for the next Legends wave they do a WWE champions theme. Four legends who were WWE/WWF/WWWF Champions and package them with their retrospective belts. (The ones they won)
1?. Buddy Rodgers
I don't know who owns the rights to Buddy, so maybe they won't be able to do him but I think the Original Nature Boy deserves an action figure. Plus we can get the first ever WWE Championship! (Although they might want to social distance the two guys making out on the side plate...)
1/2. Bruno Sammartino (2nd win/or 1st if they can't get the rights to Buddy)
Now here's someone who Mattel has the rights to, The Italian Superman! If they can get the rights to Rodgers then I think they should model Bruno after his second win against Stan Stasiak. I don't think his first figure is based off this era so this would be a unique fig, and of course he'd come with the 1973 WWWF belt.
2/3. Hulk Hogan
Since Mattel's got Hulk back, why not make him when he won the belt from Shiek? We'd get another Hulk and we'd get the big green WWF Championship! Don't know if they can put all the names on it like real life but it would still be cool to see it in figure form.
Chase: '85 Hulk Hogan
Here's an easy chase variant for this line, Hogan's 85 belt and the American Made attire you see before you. I love this design and I really hope Mattel will one day make a Hogan with this belt.
4/3. Bret Hart
(Since the original suggestion was made here's another one) Here's an attire I don't think has be made yet, the night he won his first WWF title from Ric Flair. Hopefully they won't sculpt hair in front of his eyes as they usually do and get the right shade of pink.
(If they can't get the rights to Buddy) 4. Kurt Angle
If they can't the rights for Buddy, then Kurt from No Mercy 2000 should be the fourth in this wave instead of Bret. The more Kurt attires the better!
So what do you guys think? Will they ever make any of these figures? I hope we get more versions of Hogan since he's back and I'd love to have earlier WWE belts than the belt Hogan had in '86 and '87.
