So Dwayne Johnson (the rock) and other parties have acquired the XFL organization for $15 million?
What are your thoughts?

Why Rocky why? But really I don’t see how he & the partners are going to change this around. It sucked the 1st time, it sucked the 2nd time. What 3rd times the charm?

He has the clout and mainstream media attention that the NFL could really get behind if they ever truly wanted to recreate NFL Europe

Kinda ballsy to do this with the way sports is being ran these days. Good on Rock. But it's just football, what can they do different that hasn't been done already? I'd vote for landmines and random tiger attacks.

The NFL has always been about the "Shield". Well, in this case would you hitch your wagon to one of the most influential people on the planet, who has a brand bigger than most....or a wrestling organization owner. Everyone knows how Vince is, and that's what always kept the NFL at bay on partnering in anyway. Rock would be interested, as this would be more of a portfolio piece and a passion project than his main job. That takes your majority owners out of the equation when the NFL partners with them for influential football to be played after the season concludes. So many ways that an NFL backed spring league can work, and not be watered down with crappy performance. Hell, they've now turned day one of free agency along with schedule unveiling into must see.

$15 million seems like a lot, but I'm sure he will just do a moana sequel.

$15 million seems like a lot, but I'm sure he will just do a moana sequel. The $15 million purchase price was actually split with his ex-wife and another partner.
