It has not become a big enough part of the show to either offend me or really entertain me yet, i will give it some time to see what their plan is here.

It’s pretty cringe worthy. Very unrealistic and the Bazler/ women’s fight was brutal to watch.

Ken Shamrock tweeted Shane McMahon saying if he wants to make a worked real fight look more realistic he should call him. I'm not just saying this because I'm a fan of Ken, but that's a great idea. Not for him to participate in a "fight", but to make it look real like Pancrease.

I mean Riddle was the namesake for the first gcw bloodsport so they've got people they can turn to. Which also begs the question when is Riddle showing up on it. We all know brands don't matter anyways

I applaud the effort to trying something new and unique, but it's a big swing and a miss for me.

I’m not really sure who this is supposed to appeal to...
It’s not professional wrestling.
It’s not MMA.
It’s just some really, really bad fake fighting. Like 80s Bollywood movie fake fighting.
As a wrestling fan I find it boring. As an MMA fan I find it cringeworthy and genuinely feel bad for everyone having to participate in this, especially actual fighters like Bazler.
Someone on Twitter jokingly called this Shane’s midlife crisis and I honestly believe that’s more accurate than anyone knows. If I’m not mistaken I believe there were credible rumors he was attempting to purchase the UFC (or at least part of it) some time ago. When that fell through I remember hearing he wanted to start up his own MMA promotion.
If I had to venture a guess he probably wanted to do something more like Pancrase with hard-hitting, worked MMA fights with wrestlers actually trained in MMA, but Vince said no (“can’t hurt the merchandise” type deal I’d assume) so instead we’re getting this really bad “underground” stuff that looks like it’s taking place on the set of No Holds Barred.

Oh man, even Raw’s biggest fan tang/cam89/bangarang didn’t like it! Cancel it immediately! If I want to watch real mma I’ll watch ufc(which I do). Yep wrestling fans watch wrestling for wrestling. MMA fans watch for MMA. why doesn't WWE get that.

It makes no sense. Why did Shane come back and do this? What is the storyline behind this because obviously it's going to turn into something. To me, if they wanted to make a big deal about this, a couple of weeks, at least, of buildup would have made sense. Have a vignette with some of the fighters and have a countdown to Underground type thing. Just throwing it out there with no build makes no sense. Most of it NEVER does these days. It's so random. And I have no real opinion on it because I quit watching a couple years ago. I catch up with Simon on Youtube and on the PPV's -- but even the PPV's are becoming a chore.

A lot of wrestlers are looking to be in Raw Underground just because creative has no ideas for them. An Underground brand can have quite a roster on its own.
Arturo Ruas (BJJ/Luta Livre/Capoeira) Bobby Lashley (NCAA Wrestling) Dolph Ziggler (NCAA Wrestling) Erik (Viking Striking) MVP (BJJ) Riddick Moss (Football) Shelton Benjamin (NCAA Wrestling) Matt Riddle (Wrestling/BJJ) Saurav (Kickboxing) Daba Kato (Football)
Shayna Baszler (Shootwrestling) Sonya Deville (Kickboxing/BJJ) Marina Shafir (Judo) Jessamyn Duke (Kickboxing) Emily Andzulis

I guess it is time for guys like Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn and Steve Blackman to come back to WWE.

We Got more of the grown men play fighting on Raw this week. We saw some backyard wrestling quality looking worked knees and punches from everyone involved. We had Nia Jax jumping people post "fight." We had Dolph Ziggler poke Erik in the eye. That led to Ivar charging into Ziggler and sending him flying off the "ring?" into a group of guys waiting to break his fall down on the floor. We had 741 camera cuts, most at the moment punches and knees are supposed to be landing because they're trying to hide how bad they look. And of course we had Shane yelling gibberish the whole time.
They've announced Ziggler and Ivar for next week. Why? They are wrestlers. They should be having a wrestling match, not a fake pit fight. Cut out the play fighting bullsh*t and wrestle. There's a difference. This is doing nothing for the product, and all it's doing for the participants is exposing their inability to make this work. I don't blame them, I blame the idea. Like so many others in WWE these days, it's mind numbing.

I’m not a fan but at least they are trying new things. I can’t fault them for that.
