What are your thought of this new concept?
What do you hope this concept turns into?

I hope it becomes one of those things that suddenly disappear and isn’t addressed again.
One of the lamest concepts they’ve had in a long time.

I expected to hate it. But I don’t. Thought this week was much better and overall I’m enjoying it.
I think they should keep using it to build up a few people. Especially that tall dude. Then use that momentum to have him appear on RAW with Shane as his mouthpiece. Build him up and have him go after Drew McIntyre. He’s one of the few that will make Drew look like an underdog.

Thoroughly enjoying. Had to go back and start rewatching gcw bloodsport now lol. I'd just rather see some longer matches as it develops.

Im enjoying it, its different, I like that they're trying new things and its giving opportunities to guys that probably wouldn't have gotten it otherwise.
A guy like Arturo Ruas has been with WWE since 2015 and done nothing, and in a 5 minute segment made him look like a badass. Babatunde just looks like a monster heel waiting to happen.
The only thing I fear it will do is kill guys like Ricochet/Cedric. No one is going to take seriously that a guy that just does flips is going to take down the guy that just choked out a bunch of people the week before.

It's getting better can't say I love it but it's something different and new so I'll give it another week or two

It’ll never last because it has no flow, no rules. It’s filmed like a vignette, but nobody really understands how it works. It has no legs, what consists of a good RAW underground fight? It’s usually one “realistic” amateur wrestling move, a double leg takedown, and worked punches...and for some reason that ends the fight. They throw 100 worked punches a match and continue.
I say it’s a glorified vignette because to me it’s no different than what AEW did with Lance Archer in that outdoor fight club package they ran. We don’t really know what he was doing other than the point of the video was to show us he was dominate. That’s all RAW underground is doing, it’s a tool to get over that 1 big guy and it’ll be dropped in 2 weeks

To those who like the variety in production, more power to you. I'd be very surprised if WWE Underground is still here by the end of the year. Shane can only push this idea so far.

Maybe it's not intended to go till the end of the year? A month from now they may have made a star or two and then onto the next phase. It doesn't have to be a permanent fixture to be successful.

That's a good point, it needs to ride out a few more weeks, but if they aren't clear on who they are making into a star then it's all a fairly elaborate distraction. So far Babatunde looks like the chosen one, but then they feature others like Raus, unless they plan to build those guys up and feed them to Baba. And I could buy into that, but then you throw Shayna who is a legit MMA fighter and have her work 3 Karens? It's all over the place - and where was Hurt Business? Weren't they taking over operations last week? I must have missed the plot development when fast forwarding through commericals and not stopping in time when the show restarts.

It makes no sense. Why did Shane come back and do this? What is the storyline behind this because obviously it's going to turn into something. To me, if they wanted to make a big deal about this, a couple of weeks, at least, of buildup would have made sense. Have a vignette with some of the fighters and have a countdown to Underground type thing. Just throwing it out there with no build makes no sense.

I really enjoy it. It's a new location with a whole different vibe to it and a good mix of guys that don't get the spotlight too often and people that can be built up to look good. Really adds some diversity to Raw even if it is only a few minutes of the third hour. I hope it lasts a decent amount of time.

If I want to watch real mma I’ll watch ufc(which I do). Yep wrestling fans watch wrestling for wrestling. MMA fans watch for MMA. why doesn't WWE get that. We know Vince is senile, but at 50 Shane may be getting there too!
