wrestlers are really not capitalizing on the fact that ppl have to wear masks in public. Orange cassidy should be wearing an acid wash denim mask. That's why I couldn't believe it took them so long to have guys at ringside wearing them! Free advertising in a super hot market |

it's essentially what i wanted to see for cage/taz, so i'll take it I don't buy that a deranged sociopath like Jake would be controlled by someone else. SomeTHING yes, but someONE, no. i get what you mean, but jake's already done the whole 'i'm tough, but i'm an old man, and holy crapis lance a crazy sum bitch" thing for some time now. no reason they can't tease it for jake to eventually have a face moment and drop the snake on lance for old time's sake. that's just my opinion tho |

I think the catch 22 with the Orange Cassidy push is that the more he actually is presented as a main player, the more he loses the thing that made him popular to begin with. Without the careless pockets bit that everyone loves as a midcard act, he just becomes another guy and is destined to fall back into the midcard with less momentum than he had to start.
Maybe im cynical but I just don't see it working

Also, when Hangman/FTR vs Omega/Bucks happens, are they really going to do it with mixed face/heel teams? It's clear that FTR are heels at this point and that Omega is the one that makes sense to turn heel on that side. I'm really curious to see how the story develops

Maybe im cynical but I just don't see it working maybe cynical but reasonable. i think you're right, but OC will run his course either way in his current gimmick. he can have a good program with jericho, get a surprise pop win ala hurricane/rock, and then ride those waves until it's time for a change. i can't really see a better ceiling or run for him than that, but who knows. |
