Elite 78.
Mattel showed SUCH carelessness and disrespect to its customers with this.
Matt Riddle looks like he’s the height of a 10 year old.
Randy Orton’s hair detail was totally skipped over in favour of a buzz cut he hasn’t had in three years. He is so low in the package he doesn’t display properly with any other figures.
This is the first time I’ve felt like my money was genuinely wasted on this hobby. What a sham.
These should have been recalled.

I’ll always remember it for getting me Billy Graham so I’m satisfied.
..but I’ll admit I don’t even know any of the other figures in the series

So thats 2 of the figures in the set. Complaints about the rest? Well I don’t think anyone cared about a drake maverick. Another kofi? Pass. The biggest issue is riddle. That’s been at the top of every NXT fan’s list for the last year at least. No excuse on messing up height, that is pure amateur hour at this point. Orton’s hair? It was done right in the PROTO and then they just go “Meh, no one will care or notice.”

The set looks fine to me. I've only seen a few photos of Riddle with other figures, but the scale looks alright from everything I've seen. And Orton looks like Orton, which is to say one of the blandest figures imaginable.
Nothing I'm planning to buy, but it's a well balanced lineup and no glaring design issues.

I actually really like the series.
-Debut of 2 new belts. -Riddle looks incredible in the packaging. -Naomi is outstanding. -Kofi is well done. -R-Truth is long overdue. Looks great in package. -Graham is probably a top 5 figure of 2020.

I actually agree with the original poster. Elite 78 has more examples of laziness from mattel imo. The new way they stain their shirts make them look cheaper. Maverick is a great example of this, also his accessory is a piece of cardboard? Like really? Even if it was part of that attire/story line they could of least made it out of plastic...
The 24/7 belt debut comes in dull gold/non vac which is a HUGE disappointment. That was the whole reason I pre-ordered that figure and was let down when I found out it was non VAC.
The billy graham was exciting since i've been waiting for one for years but to reuse the don muraco shirt is another example of mattel being lazy...
Sorry but i'm not going to sugar coat their faults

I like the new Orton. Think it’s the best current orton we’ve gotten yet

Also agree with some of the points made here, laziness & confusing choices were on full display here.
The biggest disappointment for me is Riddle. I'm a big fan of his & was excited for this Elite, but the final product is atrocious & killed all desire to have it. Can't believe someone looked at that & gave it the green light, thinking it was good.

Graham is easily the WWE figure of the year for me. Orton looks fantastic as does R-Truth. That‘s that most figures from one set that isn’t filled with Legends I plan on purchasing in a long time.

Don't think any of his other elites even come close besides maybe the Mania one.

Personally, I really like the set.
SSBG was excellent and I'm so happy to have him in official Mattel form. I got 2, one to open, one to keep MOC, but man, packaging is not too great, on the back it's dented in. This is on both of them. I've yet to open one, but when I do it'll be right in the middle of my shelf. The other one, well, that's the breaks. I won't buy a 3rd one.
For the record, I was disappointed w/E76. I think we will see another Otis if he gets TV time. I mean his head and face are huge, I know he's a big dude, but damn, his head isn't 3x the size of the avg human being.

Meh... I like the ones I own. And the one I don't, (Orton) I plan on getting eventually.
