I will never forget the double pack where they did Jeff Hardy like this and then painted a tank top on a regular Matt Hardy torso, that takes horrible to the next level.

Mattel is getting progressively lazier as each year goes by.
I won't be surprised if it's late 2009 Jakks quality by 2023.

Glad to see more people calling Mattel our for their laziness and cheapness. Right up their with the Jeff tank top mold still being used is how they’ve stopped putting torso hair on the Elite AJ figures. They all had em until the last 2 and Mattel decides to not do it anymore.

I want another one with a cloth shirt so we can remove it to see hit tattoos. I think it was elite 57 we got the one with the removable rubber tops but lets be honest, not many people like those.

Interesting. I get really annoyed by certain things with certain figures (Bret Hart for instance, as I'm a massive mark for the Hitman). Other people seem to be a bit "meh" about the issues though, and I feel really anal. Anyway, I don't follow Jeff Hardy or buy his figures but whenever I see them on the pegs I glance at them and think they're spot on. So I guess that's how none Bret fans view my opinions. Sadly the only way to fix the issue is if we boycott them, but the demand is too high unfortunately

I just put his head on a Matt Hardy torso, switch some Jeff pants on, and Jeff arm sleeves. Looks pretty great.

Quit taking the name of Jakks in vein. You kids don’t know Dude, I just watched a *loose* TNA Gail Kim figure that had, at best, one teeeeny line of sculpting on the entire figure go for 50 bucks. There's so much wrong with that entire concept that I don't think anyone could or should reasonably put Jakks on a pedestal.

i think they just create a "mold" for a specific superstar, and they keep re-using it until something seriously drastic calls for a change. so from the very beginning someone just picked the completely wrong torso for Jeff and i believe Bill or Steve have said before that molds are expensive so making a change at this point is not worth it since people will always buy jeff hardy figures anyway

We have figures like the elite 66 Angle which had a unique torso mold and at the very best is a one off. How does this get a priority over a figure like Jeff who outsells a one off Kurt? Same thing with James Ellsworth. Although, his figure was great he got a new mold and it most likely won’t be used again. I did ask Steve a while ago about the molded tank top and he said they would fix it on the next releases. Not too sure at this point though. The guys at Mattel more than likely know it looks bad imo. I really hope they fix it. I’ve stopped buying Jeffs at this point because of that mold. Mind you, I actually want to buy some of them. When multiple, if not plenty of people point out the same flaw in something then something should be done. I get that these figures won’t be perfect, but Mattel has a great selection of parts.
