There is a local vintage and collectible toy store that has acquired some harder to find older elites. I want to buy them all but I don't have unlimited money and they don't have giving them away pricing. Let me know if these are good deals. I know they are comparable to ebay but I need help deciding what if anything I should buy.
All three Demolition members complete $180 as a set
Red shoulder pads Legion of Doom complete $125 as a set
Akeem complete $145
Nikolai complete $60
DM WM7 Macho Man complete $50
DM the Dragon complete $75

No way I’d buy that Volkoff. He has a new Elite coming out
I’d pass at those prices on all but Macho honestly. But that’s just me. They are probably ‘worth’ that

Those prices all sound pretty high, and look to be the same as or higher than recent completed sales. The DM Macho may be worth it, since that one's a pain to find complete. But otherwise I'd just keep an eye on ebay and wait for a good deal to pop up.

If Akeem's hat is mint that isn't a bad price. They are all priced at or around the same as eBay. Does Macho have his hat Tassel? If so that is a pretty good deal for him. I've seen plenty of listings claiming that Macho is complete without the tassel.

I noticed a few sold listings for Ax and Smash going around $180-200. I was like shit, I'll give up all three at that price. And they are probably my favorite Mattel figures.

If they were moc the only one I would get is macho he's at a reasonable price but the rest like Vince McMahon song goes no chance in hell.

Do they negotiate or are their prices firm? Maybe you could talk them down some.
If they're grails to you, it might be worth paying a little more for them anyway, especially if you can hold them and see the condition first.

If you ask what kind of bulk deal they would do if you buy multiples, average that price out per figure. If you are only doing one purchase at a time, offer 5-15 less than asking price

That Macho is a steal if its mint and complete (the silver hat tassels still on the hat!?  ) I think Demolition is a steal too, I have all three MOC and Axe/Smash are two I can't bring myself to Open, so If I saw all three at that price I'd be snapping those up loose for sure and keep my MOC as they are. |

If they’re Moc I’d grab the Legion of Doom in a heartbeat & then maybe go back for Macho Man later if it’s still there.... I’d also try to talk them down if you can as some others have already said....they may be willing to give you a deal just to get rid of them, it couldn’t hurt to ask, you never know
