  Is “The Face that Runs the Place” ready to make the ‘dome his home?
A high-stakes match highlights Friday Night SmackDown’s WWE ThunderDome debut as AJ Styles will look to defend his Intercontinental Championship against Jeff Hardy.
Last week, Styles presented his own Phenomenal Intercontinental Statistic System that helped the champion crunch the numbers and was not so surprisingly unable to find a Superstar worthy of a title opportunity. The Charismatic Enigma emphatically stated his own case with Styles and left his mark on The Phenomenal One’s whiteboard presentation. The showdown between two of WWE’s most talented competitors promises to be a must-see match, and you can write that in permanent marker.
Will Hardy humble the outspoken champion? Or will Styles continue his back up his statistical model with a real-life statement?

It’s Friday?!? This week went fast! Right? I was thinking I'd make the thread early assuming some might actually be looking forward to the show. And since my son's birthday is Friday and I didn't want to risk forgetting.

Big E vs Sheamus and LHP vs Cesaro/Nakamura for the tag titles announced for tomorrow too. I’m sure we’ll find a way to bitch about it, but those should be good.

Big E vs Sheamus and LHP vs Cesaro/Nakamura for the tag titles announced for tomorrow too. I’m sure we’ll find a way to bitch about it, but those should be good. I'm just not a Sheamus guy, he's never clicked with me. I would totally buy into the one who cut that promo in the bootlegger gear though. (I also have a prohibition-tunnels themed half sleeve so y'know... kinda my wheelhouse lol). LHP vs. Cesaro/Nakamura could be absolutely incredible if they give them enough time. That match needs a good 15 minutes plus, but it could actually be better in ring than all of Summerslam. I mean that as a compliment to those 4, not a dig on SS. Metalik and Cesaro are among the best in-ring guys in the company. |

Blank out all the fans for like thirty seconds and put the retribution logo up instead, then cue back with the fans getting back into the thunderdome. Could be a cool moment for the leader to unmask right after too. |

They should’ve waited and revealed it on tv to get people to tune in. I was gonna do that until they showed it off on twitter so now I have no reason to watch Smackdown and suffer through the awful Fiend stuff
