I laughed at the tagline at the end. 10% in an outdoor venue seems like the smart place to start. My only real concerns would be a) it's in Florida and b) out of state travel. Beyond that as long as they're meeting guidelines, and the seating seems pretty smart, probably less risky than a trip to the grocery store.

Here's the thing; do I think it's a particularly good idea? No clue. It might be fine, it might not. But it gives us a crowd, which gives us the inevitable conclusion to the Hangman/Omega team. So hey, no matter what something good's gonna happen!

Let's hope this leads to a crowd for All Out. How sweet that'll be

This is good news. These shows deserve some crowd. How many people does Dalyβs place hold?

550 people is going to be a decent little crowd. In Japan the crowds are discouraged from yelling, I wonder if that will be the case here?

I was wondering that too, but the seating should be more spread out. Korakuen hall (I have no idea how to spell that but if anybody watches Japan they know what I tried to write lol). and their other popular venues are far smaller than Daily's place. The spread out seating plus the multi-decker setup should make noise pretty safe.

This is America brother, screaming and yelling is what we do. I'm Canadian, so we're not much different with sports. I legit haven't noticed the lack of fans in hockey games because I'm too busy yelling at the screen myself the whole time to be all that aware.

I just heard 15% capacity is the max, so whats the math on that? Take the main number (5500) and multiply it by 15% (.15). That equals 825.

5.6 million Americans have gotten covid, and and over 5.4 million have recovered. Consider the fact that the 5.6 million number is likely HIGHER because of the number of people who got it, didn't have symptoms and didn't get tested. There are 35 thousand flu related deaths in America every year. How many of those were dumped into the covid category? How many OTHER deaths were lumped in with covid? Without taking that second paragraph into consideration, the fatality rate right now is 3.5%. That 2nd paragraph only causes the fatality % to drop even further. Open her up.

I just want to hear JR celebrate a "sold out, ten percent capacity crowd!"
Also, it's almost laughable to me that we're as far into this thing as we are and still allowing ourselves to be placated with "mandatory temperature scans" to try and detect a virus that can be carried and transmitted symptom-free for the duration of its stay.

The best we can do is treat each other with kindness by distancing and wearing a mask. TK is taking a huge risk here and I really, really hope that an outbreak doesnβt occur in AEW. I am ethically opposed to crowds at all, but Iβm also a human being who misses/missed church, movie theaters, pro sports games, and wrestling shows. Iβd do almost anything to go back to normal.

Very random off topic comment here, but why the hell do people on the news i.e. reporters wear masks and theres literally nobody near them. I find it silly. Thats the new normal. Weird.

I would assume (and I'm totally guessing here) that's it's just an attempt to normalize the behavior since so many Americans are quite opposed to it

Let's see how smart this idea is 12 to 14 days after the show. lol But, it's AEW, so it's all good.
