Rusev Day was horrible, I thought it was cringey. Yay, I’m not alone! From NXT, to main roster debut, etc... never was a fan. Honestly don’t think he’s that good in-ring. Rusev Day wasn’t funny. I didn’t come up with this nickname for him, but I always called him a PFJ. Pure F*cking Jobber. That said, people were behind him, and if Vince legit said those things that’s pretty wild. |

When he was first brought up I wasn’t a fan of his. It wasn’t until the match vs Cena (the one where he came out on the tank) that he did finally impress me. Rusev day was pretty corny, but it was kind of fun. At least I enjoyed it more than Santino’s or the New Day’s goofy nonsense. |

Seems like a missed opportunity. I still think they could have done so much more with Slater's I Got Kids gimmick too.
Personally, I miss the old barefoot Bulgarian Brute Rusev with Lana the most. I can't stand her now.

Seems like the guys who get the big push are the guys who figure out how to have a relationship with Vince. It appears Rusev let it go after Vince said they didn’t make enough. He was getting over and Vince wasn’t buying it. It was up to Rusev to change his mind and it doesn’t look like he was doing a good job selling himself to Vince and convincing him his reactions and merch sales are legitimate.

The fact that a guy is willing to put a stop to content the audience, in mass, enjoys, and adamantly continues to force content that the audience hates onto your screen, should tell you what said man thinks about you as an audience member.
