Heel Roman vs Babyface Bryan might be the greatest match of the last decade. I think all Roman feuds with the big baby faces on Smackdown sound tremendous. Reigns against Bryan, Riddle, Hardy, and Big E all sound great to me. |

Never thought they’d go through will an actual heel turn. The low blow by Roman sealed the turn for me. I was skeptical up to that point. You had no reason to be skeptical at that point, can't be a face with haymon, Roman also waited until both men were destroyed until he entered the match. Roman is now the stuck up and at times cowardly heel. All we saw to that point was Roman sitting next to Heyman. He came out late but knowing the WWE he could have pulled a “swerve” and speared Heyman to close the show. The WWE really didn’t give us much outside of a “desperate” Roman. Nothing since his singles run started in 2014 hinted anywhere close to a heel turn and nothing before the low blow cemented him as a full blow heel; not even coming out late as we’ve seen Austin and Rock pull that move plenty of times in the Attitude Era. |

I don’t think he’ll be cowardly and run away I think he’ll be how Triple H was and how Orton was where they pick their battles in a smart fashion and back away when they don’t feel the need to fight He's literally just gonna be a Lesnar I think/hope. I swear to god, if they turn him into a chicken chit heel 🤦♂️ With the way he’s been booked for years he needs to be a “Lesnar type” heel who just dominates his opponents. It would make no sense to have him go from this dominate superhero face to a cowardly heel (though this is the WWE so who knows...). |

Anyone think it’s possible that Roman wanted the heel turn and this was a way to get him back? With how stubborn Vince has been with pushing Roman as the greatest thing since sliced bread, I find it hard to believe that Vince would relent after all this time. I mean Cena has been a face since late-2003 with nothing even close to a hint of a heel turn.
I feel like Roman was ready to come back but that he had big hand in this heel turn. The WWE needs Roman more than he needs them and maybe that was used as leverage? Just speculation but cool we’re getting a heel Roman regardless.

heel Roman is a great move, a great twist after his initial return, and opens up a lot of matches and creative pathways for him. great conclusion
I also thought Keith Lee vs Orton was great and did Lee well

I wish that the Fiend would have ripped Reigns' new teeth out of his head with that claw. Same old crap. Reigns is allowed to enter the match after the other two had been beating each other for 15+ minutes, and wins. Ugh. If he did the job to Otis, then I'd be impressed. It's more likely Otis is challenged by Heyman to prove himself by putting the case on the line against a mystery opponent, which happens to be Brock. Lesnar does the deal, wins the briefcase, Heyman turns on Reigns, and we get Dat Dude facing Brock and Paul at Mania. Again.
Barring that, is it safe to pencil in the loss for Daniel Bryan as the Universal challenger at Mania? Or is he fed to Da Big Dawg sooner than that, so any hope of Bryan winning the strap is dead and buried by then?
