Anyone know offhand how many unique wrestlers we've gotten in the Elite Top Picks? I feel like it's mostly been the same guys multiple times. Thats the point of the Top Picks line, to give the top guys a line of their own so they dont take too many spots in the mainline. Weve had Roman Reigns Seth Rollins AJ Styles Finn Balor Braun Strowman Ricochet The Fiend Bray Wyatt Kofi Kingston Drew McIntyre Thanks for the response. That was kind of my understanding. It's a nice concept, but then they put AJ, Seth, Finn, and Braun in too many other lineups anyway. "We'll put them here so we don't take away from Elite lineups. But we'd still prefer to make the same guys Top Picks multiple times. And put them in regular Elite lineups, too." It's like there's a quota (maybe there is actually, but AJ pegwarming says cool it). I like the line, but I wish they'd recognize more top wrestlers. More selections like Drew and The Fiend, whom we don't have enough figures of. |

I think it's not about freeing mainline spots so much as making sure top card guys are consistently available. They still need ~2 top guys each wave so retailers will carry them. |

I’m pretty sure it’s been said Drew and Fiend are gonna be re-releases of their prior elites but Drew won’t be coming with the Raw tag title.

Say what you will about the previous sets, but this is the lamest Top Picks set to date IMO. While none are bad figures (I actually really like them), they’re all rereleases, except for the new Kofi. They could’ve at least changed the color on Roman’s vest and gauntlets to have a green, red, or blue trim instead of the same gold color on E79. I would’ve loved the alternate colors for the Big Dog logo on the vest.
I think they should’ve kept Seth Rollins and/or Ricochet in the Top Picks line, simply because they have a lot of different attire choices to pick from. If Rollins was still in this set for example, they could’ve released one of the two attires that didn’t win the fan vote for that one Elite series (Thanos or Survivor Series 2019), The Messiah gear,, or the Quantum Realm attire.
