Say what you will about the previous sets, but this is the lamest Top Picks set to date IMO. While none are bad figures (I actually really like them), they’re all rereleases, except for the new Kofi. They could’ve at least changed the color on Roman’s vest and gauntlets to have a green, red, or blue trim instead of the same gold color on E79. I would’ve loved the alternate colors for the Big Dog logo on the vest. I think they should’ve kept Seth Rollins and/or Ricochet in the Top Picks line, simply because they have a lot of different attire choices to pick from. If Rollins was still in this set for example, they could’ve released one of the two attires that didn’t win the fan vote for that one Elite series (Thanos or Survivor Series 2019), The Messiah gear,, or the Quantum Realm attire. Yeah but these sets aren’t really intended for the hardcore collector. They’re supposed to be figures of the most popular talent that first time collectors, parents, grandparents, etc can easily find. You really don’t want to make the lineup that appealing for the collectors and scalpers to go and scoop up. Re-releases are what Top Picks should consist of. I understand that. Maybe I just got spoiled by having so many different Rollins figures to choose from. Usually his Top Picks would be a different attire than his main line Elite, thus giving me more figures to collect. |

Kofi is a maybe for me. Fiend also a maybe, have E77, but getting one to have loose is an option. I’d like another Drew, but there’s not much different about his figures. If the hair in front of his face head was placed on him instead then I’d definitely get another one.

Walmart is still charging more for Top Picks than the regular elite line so get E79 if you can. I don’t understand how these are supposed to sell when they are about $4 more than regular elites. Ricochet was in demand and so is The Fiend so they will but the other guys all have a ton of figures and most of these are rereleases now |

I'm not buying New Day Elites if they don't come with the entrance vests. Still just have the old blue ones from eons ago.
Anyway, the last Drew Mac I got was Elite 8, so this looks like a very long overdue upgrade. Might pick him up.

Its for there always to have the top guys in wwe on shelfs thats why seth,finn aj etc has been in so many sets sometimes we get new gear sometimes just releases |

But for those who may not have been able to pick up or find the current release, it’ll be nice for them to have another chance at it. Absolutely I am super pumped to have Drew bcoz I missed elite 71. I have zero complaints this time with top picks. Drew is going for alot of bucks on evil bay. |

Kofi I wouldn’t have in this set because they are going to hear crap from the collectors either way. It’ll be collectors bitching about not getting matching Big E and Xavier figures. Or if they do put matching attires in the regular line then the collectors with be bitching that all the new day figures so close together are taking spots away from other wrestlers. So for me I wouldn’t have put a member of a faction into the top picks line.
Roman might come back to bite them like Styles prior. Kids love him, but like with AJ having him come out in this line when he turns heel (if Roman is turning) then he won’t be as popular with the kids which is what this line is intended for. Parents being able to walk into the store and seeing the popular figures the kids want.

Who would you put in the series to gear it more towards kids wanting the popular wrestlers? Drew, Rey, Jeff Hardy, Fiend? They’ve got more top guys as heels than faces at the moment. |
