FTR gets under my skin in the best way. F*ck those guys, but I respect it. lol For a thrown together tag team that was supposed to be nothing more than two workhorse guys (their original tag name was The Mechanics , Christ) they’ve managed to become one of the hottest teams in recent history I haven’t been a big fan of their AEW run so far, but those NXT classics are undeniable. |

They didn’t have any memorable matches on the main roster honestly but I don’t think that’s their fault they were always given comedy segments and goofy crap to do |

No. It adds a layer to the story of he and MJF. He shouldn't win the title. Wardlow isn’t anywhere close to being a credible threat to win the title, therefore he shouldn’t challenge. Both he and MJF will be great champs one day, just gotta have patience and enjoy the ride. It's not about being credible, IMO, if that were to happen. It calls into question the motive of his actions, given MJF's loss. It also keeps the main event from being spoiled, which it was, completely, by having any other heel win the CBR. |
