One of my all time favorite. He’s always been a great talker. The team of him and Cole on Smackdown back in the day is one of my favorite commentary teams of all time.

I’m re-watching 02 WWE right now and the Smackdown episodes are absolute highlights every show. I forgot how much I loved Smackdown in this time period and still think the 02-04 roster is the best they ever had |

I’m re-watching 02 WWE right now and the Smackdown episodes are absolute highlights every show. I forgot how much I loved Smackdown in this time period and still think the 02-04 roster is the best they ever had Cole gets a lot of sh**, mainly because he isn’t JR, but he’s always been a good commentator. Taz is a great color man. The pair called one of the best area is wrestling and don’t get enough credit for it. |

I think Taz should be on the Dynamite booth permanently replacing Excalibur. Taz is motivated in AEW and that month or so he was on the booth in the summer he got a hell of a lot out of Tony and JR.

He made the product unwatchable for me but other than that I’ve always liked him I’m not a fan when they try and make any commentator a gimmick or part of a storyline honestly. |

Cole and Taz were a great SmackDown team, but my appreciation stops there. |

Taz is good on commentary and he's a decent mouthpiece for Team Taz.

I think he's great on commentary I'm just watching Dark from last night or whenever it was and his "area code shot" line when Cage hit the 619 made me chuckle. He's quite funny but doesn't try too hard like Lawlor did sometimes. Just wondering what everyone else's opinion on him is. If Brian Cage is from Fresno, shouldnt his 619 be called the 559?  |
