Dustin’s skintone seems way too light like the first set in that tattoo picture. I hope this isn’t a continuing problem with the line as MJF looks fine. I think all of series 2 has the same skin tone issue as series 1, unfortunately. I believe they said series 3 would have the improved skin tones, and supposedly a re release of series 1 with better skin tones. [ill believe it when i see it] Pretty sure Jeremy said series 2 was supposed to have the corrected skintones which is part of why they’re doing the series 1 re-issue as a lot of the parts were shared between the two or something like that, but the re-issue isn’t coming until after series 2 |

I probably should have preordered the Dustin from RSC also, but he wasn’t a “must have“ for me so I held off for finding him locally when series 2 is out. But now seeing just how poorly the distribution of the line is I probably won’t find it which means I am now anticipating that it won’t be in my collection because I don’t do secondary market. My number one rule for collecting is simple and that is if I didn’t want it enough to preorder it and I don’t find it locally then I don’t need it in my collection.
Now that said it looks like the Dustin will suffer from warping/ buckling legs over time because those knees have no support to them. They will start to warp/buckle from supporting the weight of the figure over time. I see that a lot with figures with knees that are that small.

Have to assume it’s the rest of Series 2, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was just another two figures either.
I’m trying to keep my expectations in check. We were told pics were coming soon and then weeks passed by. Thursday we were told pics were coming the next day, and then on Friday it was announced it’s just two figures we’ve already seen.
That being said, I’m really curious to see how Hangman, Mox and The Lucha Bros turn out. Dustin looks better than he did at Toyfair, but even with the newest pic I still think MJF is a downgrade. Lucha Bros looked incredible at Toy Fair but I thought they looked off in the figure commercial.

Can’t wait to have a Hangman figure. He’s easily one of my favorite wrestlers right now. From the neck down his figure looks good, but the scan kind of just looks like a generic face rather than his.
AEW is the best wrestling there is right now in my opinion, so I’ll get them even if they’re not perfect. I just hope they get a better likeness in their faces eventually; I feel like they still haven’t nailed anyone’s scan yet.
Edit: Ugh, only two reveals again. Their marketing strategies make me less excited than more excited for the line..
