I know it's unlikely due to Sting's contract situation, and the fact that WWE treated Sting poorly and Vince McMahon thinks anyone from WCW was a jabroni loser....but here would be my plan for Taker at Survivor Series:
Undertaker comes out and starts just giving a speech about his career, all the men he's fought, all the battles, he thanks the boys, he thanks the fans, he starts to wrap it up....Retribution comes out and surrounds the ring. They get in the ring and are about to kill Undertaker when all of a sudden...
*Lights go out* *Crow sound* *Lights go back on*
Sting is in the ring. Him and Taker look at each other and nod....and they clear the ring of the Retribution members.
After the match. They look at each other again, and nod to one another as a sign of mutual respect.
End Segment.
Basically, just replicate this segment, but instead of Orton, sub in Taker:

@ jdl375 if only. If you really think of it, the fact that there’s no live audience would make it even easier. A lot of it would be camera magic. Even if there were to be a hypothetical match, like a bone-yard match to be exact. The camera it would all just be acting and neither Taker or Sting would get physically hurt or risk anything. Sometimes I just don’t get WWE.

Keep him retired! Let's not break him down more than he already is. Maybe a choke slam, but thats it.

If he’s going to be there, why not announce his role on the show by now?

This is fine. He will likely do a chokeslam or two, and a Tombstone, and that’s it. He’s already jumped the shark by doing the docuseries, and then again and worse by showing up on Fallon. Good for him. He should enjoy the fruits without worrying about the integrity of the character, even if I personally would rather he didn’t. The legacy is tarnished to sad levels already, it’s not like another appearance is going to make it any worse, even if he wrestled again.

AJ and LBM interrupt. Kane comes to the rescue. Double chokeslam LBM. AJ eats two tombstones. He does the kneel pose while Kane does the fire turn buckles. We never see either in character again.

WWE Confirmed the "farewell" appearance. I think it's gonna be a swerve set up, he'll get attacked and set up a match for Mania. With COVID still disrupting things he can have another theatrical safe match for him and WWE can have another year of Taker at Mania. It's all about the money.

He'll be back for an actual goodbye when the crowds are back. Hence, this is utterly pointless.

I'm hoping we see him in various different outfits throughout the night...
Is that unreasonable?
Open the show with VINTAGE Taker, tie on etc.
Have the Ministry pop up.
Have the Deadman.
Then ABA to ride out.
Too much to ask for lol!?

Crazy.....He's been in my life since I was 10. I was 40 in February & I remember watching that SSeries match like it was yesterday. I love on Honky's shoot how he says nobody thought it would last more than a month or two. In fairness to him he eats crow and says he was one of the guys that thought it was stupid and laughed his ass off at it....saying "who the f*ck is laughing now assh*le" LOL

Something tells me that the Fiend will attack him and set up for a venoms tic match at Mania for those two.

I would like to see him just on Team Smackdown. Have him take a steel step bump and then eliminate the final RAW guy with a chokeslam.

I think Undertaker should come, grab the microphone, look directly into the hard camera and say...
"Yep yep yep, what it do!"
Then he takes off his jacket to reveal a "Ryback is God" shirt.
Ryback then comes out and gets in the ring. Grabs the microphone and says, "The big guy is back! Feed me more! Feed me more!"
Undertaker will then prance around the ring imitating Ryback and chanting, "Feed me more! Feed me more!" too.
Then all of a sudden.... the music of the NWO hits! And out comes Hollywood Hogan, Kevin Nash, Vincent, Stevie Ray, and The Disciple. They circle Ryback and Undertaker, then all of a sudden....
"Hooooooooo!!!!" The theme song of Hacksaw Duggan hits!
Duggan, Ryback and Undertaker fight off the NWO, and then pose doing the Shield fist bump.
And that's how you end a perfect Survivor Series PPV!

The Paul Bearer doc is great I watched this last night and enjoyed it too, the WWE Untold with Orton and Taker was also very good. Can’t wait for the Brothers of Destruction doc on Sunday.

It's a good time to get rid of "Retribution". They can swarm the ring and Taker can take them all out with chokeslams and one final "tombstone" and that is enough to make them never appear again.

After taking a year off following the end of his streak it looked like Taker was back. Turns out those 2015 matches with Brock were the last noteworthy matches of his career.
