Rusev on the midcard in WWE: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Miro on the midcard in AEW: Hey! At least he's on tv!!!! Too funny. He was unhappy in the WWE mid-card. He's happy in the AEW mid-card. That's really all that matters. The key is that he's fulfilling the image of himself on the screen and has input on his direction. If he wants to be featured differently, a quick convo or two would likely change his position a whole lot quicker and not be ignored or mindfreaked into accepting his current role, or face repercussions for raising concerns.

Yeah, Omega basically IS a Japanese wrestler. If you don't watch NJPW or aren't familiar with him (as a face and as The Cleaner) then you'll never get him. That IS who he is. What we've seen earlier in AEW is not Kenny. I love his schtick and love him as a heel. His entrance screams Japan right now. One of the best on the entire planet. Someone mentioned Pac above. While Pac might have 5% more talent in the ring, he has zero personality which is why he's never been pushed to the moon. If he could even do a fraction of what else Kenny brings to his matches ... wow. Pac doesn't have PERSONALITY, but he at least has something to him now that he's a mean bastard heel instead of the generic flippy boy from when I used to watch him in Dragon Gate. I loved his (scripted, highly edited) promos where he's walking around Newcastle in his trunks. He carried a feud with Omega all by himself for months, while Kenny struggled to even know how to be a TV character. I like Omega in the ring. One of the few guys in AEW I can watch without expecting botches, and I kinda enjoy all of the pointing. Being the Elite has ruined him as a personality for me though. A goofy, blustering nitwit with awful instincts.

Callis would be awesome for Omega
and I know the involved parties wouldn't be interested, but I actually think an eventual invasion for *one* event by Cornette could be awesome. have him cost the Bucks the match with FTR after other run ins. but we need an audience for Cornette to get the full heat due.

Cornette would be the biggest hypocrite in the world if he did anything with AEW. Besides he doesn’t leave his house unless it’s to go to the post office to mail merchandise. He probably makes more selling his merch than a lot of AEW wrestlers make period.

I hope not. I’m a fan of his, but have no interest in seeing Cornette on AEW.

I hope not. I’m a fan of his, but have no interest in seeing Cornette on AEW. They already have Cracker Barrel and Chili's. No need for KFC.

I hope not. I’m a fan of his, but have no interest in seeing Cornette on AEW. that's fair. here's my thinking: - FTR is already over with Cornette, so him assisting the 'real' wrestlers who are tied to his old NWA buddies just makes sense - Cornette has close to a million weekly listeners - Cornette has got big heat with AEW loyalists, and Cornette's fans are anti AEW - it works an angle that features real known animosity - it's a lot more positive than the two groups endlessly griping at each other. that's just my take.

MAYBE when things get back to normal, this is possible. Again though, he’d be a big hypocrite. Plus if he ever joins AEW then leaves, you know he will be bashing them again. I’m a fan, I’ve supported the Cornette’s Collectibles, so I don’t want him to be a hypocrite plus he’s not needed in AEW and that’s why I have no interest. Also you say he hated ecw more? I am actually going to submit this to Cornette’s weekly Q&A. I hope he answers.

I'd figure if he ever became part of the show, that heat would just disappear because the AEW fanbase know he's just part of the show now. Or it would be play-heat. FTR seemed fairly anti-Elite before, but since joining AEW and they're doing skits together we know they're all friends. Do they have heat? Can anyone any more?
