Can you just pull the hand out any figure for a hand swap? Or are hand swap figures specifically made for hand swapping?

You can do it with any figure really, best to heat the joint up by running it under extremely hot water. If I do alot of them I boil a pot of water and dip the joints in for about 10-30 seconds and they pop right out.
Keep it mind for Mattel WWE the new figures that come with swappable hands have smaller holes where the plugs go into. Older WWE mattel figures have bigger pegs on the hands so some don't fit very well.

Every elite starting with E63 and forward, you can just pull the hands out. Anything E62 and under, you'd have to use heat on it because of the bigger pegs.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but figured I'd ask
Can you swap Jakks hands on Mattel arms?

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but figured I'd ask Can you swap Jakks hands on Mattel arms? No. The pegs for Jakks figures are much bigger than Mattel.
