Just watched the itch that jerry was, the leg color will be corrected in series 3, heights were used by googling, since they don’t have access to the talent ( due to COVID), I recommend you guys listen to it. Yep Good stuff

I just did and I thought it was informative. I know people complain about that guy everyday but I don't really see him as a bad guy yet. I think he still wants this line to be successful and run smoothly

Wait a minute now. You telling me they couldn’t reach out to the wrestlers and ask them how tall they are. There’s only like 12 figures out lol wtf 12 or 120 you expect a wrestler to give you there shoot height or shoot weight in any era .... It’s 2020 bro... if you cant get information from an actor and your making a figure for them, that’s just dumb. You have the source themselves, and if they want to use their stage height then just mention it when you give them your real height. To Google heights is some school project level nonsense. Who runs a company like that? Your doing business together, even if they didn’t call the wrestlers they can call someone at AEW to compile a list for them like qt Marshall or one of those type of dudes. It’s not rocket science. I am shocked that this is how they did it. Edit: I also don’t care about height of the figures btw lol

Edit: I also don’t care about height of the figures btw lol It is 2020 Bro ... and many actors still don’t reveal there heights .. nobody said it’s rocket science but also they may not have as simple access to all those things as you may assume especially early on in a fledging company That was on the hustle to get on national television put together PPV push merch sales work all social media possible Scout talent sign talent train talent coach talent Creating video game upstart Etc etc and most of that work was being done by the very talents we watch in the ring and it’s not like Tony Khan doesn’t have multiple jobs but feel free to offer your services I can pass your resume on to someone that works there all jokes aside it is what it is and they may not have even cared that much about the accuracy in the first place vs everything else there doing but with allot of us collectors we do tend to sometimes pick apart that kind of thing so in that regard it would have been cool besides i don’t have them in hand for another 48hrs but it’s not like mattel has this aspect down after ten years Orndorf legends 8 just the most recent example ... doesn’t look like there all that far off anyways I think it’s less the extreme heights but the medium height that’s sometimes the issue and everything kind falls out of wack from there I would agree with you though it does seem kind of silly they did it this way As I’ve never understood anyone thinking those online measurements are accurate outside of something like UFC that is constantly doing weigh ins etc and again the biggest issue is these companies simply don’t work off of true 1/12 scale in the first place vs say Marvel legends or Black series or whatever brands do it better because from the beginning of time wrestling always had to be bigger better and stronger than everything else on the shelf

Right. I feel you on that but this is their job. If I had to get data from a company I’m working with at my job and I had their contact info and email, I’m not gonna Google it and hope for the best. And I damn sure won’t ADMIT that to the public lmao. That’s my whole point, don’t tell us that you googled it, that’s some half ass shit. I don’t know the scaling process for figures in history or anything. As long as Marko stunt isn’t as tall as Jake Hager, it’s okay with me. I thought Dustin looked big and it was pointed out to me he’s like 6’6 so I feel they did a good job. I may come across as complacent, but that’s because I care about the company and expect it to do well. When I hear of small details that should never be missed it’s just kind of baffling to me. I don’t work in toys though so maybe they know something I don’t. But if your job is making toys, you should know the in and outs of making them and scaling them no?

It’s all good I get where your coming from also Dustin is closer to 6’4 but again I have to see it in hand to give an honest opinion I know first series heights were off but because no one was particularly big it wasn’t that noticeable.... now that they made Mox & Dustin we have some true variance

Only time will tell how they do or don’t progress. My favorite part of the figures is the articulation, at least for series 1. I loved that you can pose them in pretty much any way you want. So they have good things going for them. I just feel like a beta tester at times, which triggers me at times. But like stated before it’s a new company and the hiccups will be there, it’s just how long until they are gone. Crazy year 2020, glad we got wrestling and figures and games coming from AEW. It could be worst.

It could be worst. Agreed the articulation was refreshing Surprise but I really wish they could balance out the ankles and or feet in a way that the figures stood a little better ... Jericho May have had chunky boots but he never tips .... in the young bucks defense the bell bottoms should have been a tad shorter at the bottom .... I mean nick usually has his hikes up high water style anyways once he’s wrestling lol or like with a The TRuth and Cena figures w the ankle articulation ( and now montez I believe ) just strengthen those ankle a smidge but still excited to see what we got this week .... we’re in an amazing time for collecting

Not completely in line with your suggestion but I am curious how pop down hips ( example GI Joe ) might work in a wrestling line I hate drop down hips. They make the figures feel fragile to me. And while I haven’t done it to the Joes I have super glued to stems on my imports and DCD Icons that use them so they don’t drop.

Moxley and Dustin do look big compared to the other figures but even though it’s an error, I don’t mind it too much. I feel like it’s more noticeable because everyone else’s height is within like a 3 inch window pretty much. I haven’t measured, but Moxley is billed at 6’4 and Omega is billed at 6’0. The Moxley figure is really only slightly taller than Omega when stood next to each other. For me, I think what was throwing me off was I imagined Fenix being about the size of Mysterio or Kalisto. He’s actually billed at the same height as MJF and only an inch shorter than Penta.

Interesting I can’t say I have much experience w them just picking up this GI Joe Duke To check out Ended up making a few pics in the back yard with don’t plan to pick up anymore of those specifically but thought it was an interesting concept good to know though Thx PJ

Ordered day one within 10 minutes. Still no email. But I always check out as a guest so that's probably why.

Looks like my Hangman is being delayed by the USPS. My packages usually take overnight to arrive from RSC. Normally once it hits the White Plains PO it leaves there around 3am and then goes to the Monsey PO and is then at mine by 8-8:30 am. But Hangman didn’t leave with White Plains PO until 10:31 this morning. And hasn’t arrived at Monsey yet. So it looks like Hangman won’t be here until tomorrow after 4pm.
