Mr. Brodie Lee
That guard rail breaking is pretty interesting.

I've gotta tell you guys....
My friends and I spent countless, probably hundreds of hours playing the THQ N64 games - - - World Tour, WCW Revenge, Wrestlemania 2000 and WWF No Mercy.... these games were a big part of my high school / college days. We were so competitive with each other during these games! It wasn't about the graphics then, it was about the gameplay - my friends and I had similar skills and frequently had some amazingly close competitive matches that had us screaming. Our siblings and girlfriends would occasionally join in and they too could pick up the game relatively easily and feel like they were actually part of the game.
Since those games - I've not found a single wrestling game playable for more than a week before I get tired of just randomly mashing buttons & hoping to pull off a move or two.
The videos I've seen give me hope that we are about to get a game that is FUN again! I'm really getting excited for June 29th and I hope you all will give it a chance. It's not about the graphics (although I actually think these graphics look great) - it's about the intuitive style of the controls..... I also hope that it captures that addictive gameplay style that No Mercy had.
I'm really getting psyched for AEW Fight Forever!

Sure I also love HCTP. But, I still played No Mercy for years even after owning more modern Wrestling games. The Fire Pro games are amazing. I take nothing away from that series, but, it is quite difficult and even after owning some of those games for years, I still can’t win a match. Which is probably more about me than the games. I’ve bought most of the WWE 2K games except for the last 2, because it lost my interest and was just too much of the same. I was excited for the War Games match in the most recent release, but, apparently not enough for me to buy the game. Fight Forever feels like a must have for me, and I haven’t felt that way about a wrestling game in forever.

Some double team moves. I like at the end when (I can't make out who it is) suplexes Dustin Rhodes into the screen it turns into LED hell.

Jeff Hardy. Entrance looks good. Dive looks good. That screen is taking a BEATING. I love it.

Andrade. I really don't like the way the top rope looks like cooked spaghetti at 17 seconds when Andrade does his step up dive. The rope is moving like like it's detecting a giant earthquake.

Exactly what I'm wondering. I'd much rather own a physical copy of the game. You can download the DLC on its own, and be able to pick and choose the ones you want that way. Would it all come out to the same price, or would the elite edition save any money?

As of now, the PS4 digital version is knocked down to $72 for the preorder. Once it's out, all the DLC will be the same price.

As long as the gameplay is closer to the N64 games, the PS2 Smackdown series or the GameCube's WM games (WMXIX and WMX8 although I've heard nothing but great things about the first WWE: DOR on GC I've never played it myself) than it is to the 2k Franchise or any of the later SVR's, I'll buy it and love every second of it. I have been enjoying the hell out of WWE 2k23 but I haven't played a fun arcade-y wrestling game in ages. It's great to see all the advancements in graphics and how far we've come from 8-bit pixelated characters on a box tv being the pinnacle of technology but I don't personally need to see each individual sweat drop or a facial expression that has 120 points of articulation. Give me a fun game with the personalities/characters that I grew up watching or that I currently enjoy watching. That should always be a baseline goal in making a game, make it fun. This looks fun.

Two questions:
1) Are the entrances full, or just the short little on the stage part?
2) IS SHAWN SPEARS IN THE GAME?!?
Thank you.

Thank you. According to the user on Reddit that has the game and has answered questions about it, Shawn Spears is not listed on the roster list that the person posted. Seems to be 47 to start, 3 to unlock. My math could be off because I really don't know anything about the AEW so I don't know if he is listing people by there full name or just last names. Hopefully through updates and patches they can add more to it. CAWS seem to have very limited options. Like you can edit from head to toe but the choices within the categories are limited. 100 caws slots as well.
