All right, I pulled the trigger and pre-ordered the Elite Edition this morning, and it's downloading on my XSX as I type this. I figured that it can use all the support that it can get, plus I had a $20 XBL credit burning a hole in my pocket.

All right, I was able to play this for an hour before I had to sign in to work. Here are some of my experiences with it:
The first match I played was the Casino Battle Royale using Matt Hardy (I wanted to use Broken Matt Hardy, but I didn't see that version readily available anywhere. Found out since that the Broken version is an alternate attire that you have to assign. Will play around with it when I have more time). I was able to eliminate Thunder Rosa and Ricky Starks before getting eliminated by Bryan Danielson. CM Punk was the eventual winner.
I then played two single matches, as they were part of my daily goals: Win a match with Chris Jericho, and win a match with Scorpio Sky. I had the CPU select a random opponent for each. Using Jericho, I beat John Silver by submission, and using Scorpio, I got the pinfall over Chuck Taylor.
I next tried a minigame: Death Race X. I was hoping that it was a kart racing game, but you just ride a skateboard around an exploding barbed wire race track, doing tricks for points. Kind of bizarre seeing Malakai Black skateboarding around.
By this point I had received a ton of in-game currency, so I was able to go to the store and buy Cody Rhodes, plus attires for each of the YB and for Dr. Britt.
Initial impression is that it's much easier to pick up and play than the recent WWE games. Which works for me, as I absolutely loved the N64 wrestling games (Revenge/WM2K/No Mercy). Looking forward to playing some ore after work!

I'm digging it so far, though I am IMMENSELY heartbroken that Shawn Spears isn't in it. Took the World Title off MJF with 3 Orange Punches and a Beach Break. Superkicked Thunder Rosas head off 4 or 5 times and Aubrey is your new Womens champ.

Been playing since 9-10 am or so.
Played through RTE once. Got everything I could get so far from the Shop.
Mastered the controls.
Aiming to unlock Owen. I have over 40 matches so far.
Taking a time out for the day.

Its a little glitchy/weird in the moving around at times. Like, do a Cody Cutter. Its kinda funny the way he moves the other guy around to set it up, and then the jump. Pretty funny. But I haven't seen anything game-breaking yet. |

 I have been having fun so far. It is a nice change up from 2K and for me, still Fire Pro. Makes me think more of the DoR games on GameCube. |
