In honor of the real AEW games being revealed this week I figured I would share a graphic design sort of deal of my own. Before this semester had started I was working on an AEW Arena that would be game engine ready. It's been shelved for a while now for course related stuff, but I had made pretty significant progress in the modeling side of it. Figured I'd share while I was thinking of it.

This is really cool, man. I learned Maya in college but I wasn't very good at it.
I'd love to see this with more textures and color added. I know there are a lot of really cool lighting options in Maya that would work great for a wrestling arena.

Maya is a complex beast of a program and I was lost for a while when I was just starting in college a few years ago. Still lots of stuff I'm wrapping my head around still here in terms of Maya knowledge. Well the eventual plan for it is that I would model it out in Maya then take it to substance painter and do the texturing in there then render it out probably in either SP or Marmoset toolbag. That said we learned how to set up modular environments in the Unity engine so in theory I might be able to even put it into that and be able to walk around it. I intend to finish it at some point probably once I graduate in the spring, even with the real deal in production now.

This is so cool. I have never heard of Maya but looks like you can do a lot with it! Definitely would be cool to model whatever you want. I'm curious to see what final products look like.

Maya is one of the big 3 for 3D modeling/animation software. Lots of uses for it whether it's animated movies, video games, 3d architecture, or countless other things. I've got the itch to get back to completing it at the least. I did learn the basic concepts of rigging character models this semester so I'm kind of intrigued to model out a wrestler and see what kind of animations I can whip up eventually here. Lot of potential to do/want to create list though when the school back log is non-existent.

Very nice work you have there. Have you ever considered offering your items for sale on Renderosity.com? Maya has integration with Poser, which is used a lot on the eWrestling scene. I know some artists who'd probably be interested in your work, to use for their scenes.

Woah, this looks phenomenal. I'd also love to see some textures and colors added in. Great work! Wish I was that creative, the most I can do is texture mod No Mercy LOL.

Very nice work you have there. Have you ever considered offering your items for sale on Renderosity.com? Maya has integration with Power, which is used a lot on the eWrestling scene. I know some artists who'd probably be interested in your work, to use for their scenes. I'm probably going to go the freelance route when I graduate pending any crazy studio job offers. I can look into it, but probably wouldn't offer anything until it was fully complete if I did so.
