The idea of making Ultimate Editions of existing attires/looks was brought up in the q&a session. With wrestlemania 6 warrior heavily rumored and wrestlemania 7 warrior and savage brought up in the q&a, it seems its in the works.
Which existing elites would you actually buy as reimagined ultimates? New accessories or costume pieces? Different facial expressions?

I would like Andre with 100% retooled parts and accuracy in scale and body size. This would be perfect for the big scary toothy smile, strangling hands, the wrestlemania 3 staredown. It would be brilliant if they made a Hogan figure that could bodyslam the andre figure.
Hulk rules hogan with ability to recreate all of the pose downs after the matches. Multiple faces including sweaty post match Hogan. American flag and really good shirt to create ripping.
Macho man from wrestlemania 5. Has to have the crazy eyes like he accused Hogan of lust in his eyes. Headband and sparkly orange robe that says madness on the back.
Macho king purple and gold. They put something out as a ringside exclusive long before I discovered ringside. I just want this one to be accurate with the purple and gold robe and shades. I would like this more visible and available than the exclusive was.
Demolition with the studded chaps if they ever re sign them. Each member has two head options with different facepaint options. This would be fine with just Ax and Smash.
This one would be a huge Longshot but retrofest Honky. Make that jumpsuit with more accuracy and detail like the detail that went into Charlotte's robe. Really nail the details. Have a few head options and a nice more realistic guitar and a second pre broken guitar. I was never a fan of the breaking guitar accessory because it never stayed together. Having one made to look splintered and exploding would be so fun to pose over another figures head.

I’m all re doing some macho man figures to get the entrance gear, but can we get matching Sherri/Liz?
Eg if they re do mania 7 can we get Sherri and Liz?
Or can we get Mania 6 macho to match the Sherri?

Not really a fan of repeats unless they were to include ALL entrance gear so just those that have been made missing tops/capes/robes. Macho/Warrior come to mind.

I’d rather not have reissues in general...(no issue with repaints) and honestly if Mattel go on a massive reissue campaign, I’m probably out on the elite line.
Redoing some of the absolute musts into Ultimate Edition line is a happy medium I think. WM6/WM7 Warrior probably deserves a Ultimate, as does Macho WM7.
Think the inverse is true as well, Hollywood Hogan Elite and HH98 Warrior Elite.

I asked that question and Steve mentioned WM7 Savage/Warrior like I hoped one of them would. I would really like to see ultimates of those attires with Savage getting his shirt and gauntlets and Warrior getting a cloth duster with tassels added this time (cloth so it doesn’t curl up due to age/bad packaging like the original), a better head(s) with more accurate hairstyle/color, the modern tassels, and corrected boot logos
Getting old attires with upgraded articulation is definitely better than just rereleasing them. I don’t get mad when basics aren’t made into elites so I’ve changed my attitude on elites into ultimates

I’d rather this not be a habit. Most guys like Macho and Warrior have countless attires we could conceivably get. The only argument for Mania 6 Warrior was “at least we finally get the yellow IC title!.” Now we don’t even need it with that release.
This just speaks to the shortcomings of the Legends contracts. It’s bad enough we’re barely getting new faces, but now we’re going to get the same sh*t we’ve gotten before with toe articulation? Cool...

I would love to see Hulk Hogan and Warrior based on WM 6. Its just an iconic look for both. UE is the best line going today and I think legendary matches like that should get UE figures.
